I did an online order it changed the location to Aberdeen. I was trying to order in another town. I called the store immediately. the guy that answered the phone. didn't know what to do so he called the manager, she told him she would take care of it the next day. and if i had questions to call her persona number. which I did (by the way the manager and owner are the same person) that's what she told me. this woman was the ruddiest and most hateful person I have ever talked to with customer service. her name is Apecka or something like that. they first told me i had to cancel the order but that was a lie you cant. she told me that she couldn't do anything about it. I told her I needed my money back. she said well you made the mistake I said yes I did, then she said there is nothing I can do for you and hung up on me. I called her back the next day. she said she refunded my money but I still don't have it. because I couldn't pull up my receipt at the time I was on the phone with her she said it was adding up to 35 and some change.. I told her it was 36.35 at which point I said what ever. I got home looked it up and texted her a copy of the receipt I was correct it was 36.35 she replied back well you refund is similar. I said it needs to be exact. I got on here and I have seen other reviews talking about the manager/owner and her attitude. Firehouse you need to do better!!!!! this woman is representing your name. and I plan to get the word out to all I can about how hateful she is. you don't treat people the way she does with no consequences. Read moreMy wife and I used to be regulars of their location in Ithaca, NY and we loved it.
This location though, we ordered online and they had half an hour before we were coming to pick it up.
We get there and they never started it. My wife gives them her name, so they can rush it. They rush a different customer's order, one with a similar name. Turns out, they straight up lost our order.
Normally, this is inconvenient but whatever. Difference was, we were on our way to an appointment we couldn't miss and we ordered it WAY ahead of time so we could grab it and go.
I would've just asked for a refund but apparently there's a whole problem when it's done online.
Maybe things would've gone better and faster if they had more than one person making the sandwiches and two on the register. Inbetween orders, those cashiers are just on their phones.
Sad too, because we like the brand and their food. The Aberdeen shop is a poor representation of...
Read moreThis is the first time I have had Firehouse in over a year due to always having issues with my order. I was sincerely looking forward to a really good sub for dinner. After getting home and finally getting to dig into my sandwich I discovered my Italian sub had turkey on it instead of ham (yuck) and was missing a few other ingredients I had ordered when placing the order online. When I spoke to the manager she told me I would have to come back to the store (that’s 30 mins from my house which I explained to her) and show them the sub was wrong for them to remake it. In no universe is a $10 sub worth driving 30 mins to the store and back.
