China Garden Buffet — Restaurant in Aberdeen

PLEASE LOOK AT THE REVIEWS!!& Update as of; July-25-2024 I got a response but apparently the manager did not read MY WHOLE REVIEW BC HE\SHE SAID "MAYBE I HV NOT BEEN HERE ON SUNDAY" WHEN I PUT IN\ON THE REVIEW"I HV BEEN HERE ON SUNDAY SAME PRICE IS STILL $14.18"SOUNDS LIKE THE MANAGER DID NOT READ THE WHOLE FINE PRINT&DOES NOT CARE TO READ THE WHOLE FINE PRINT!!😭🙃& As of; July-25-2024 it SEEMS THIS RESTAURANT MANAGER DOES NOT HAVE RULES THAT ASSOCIATE'S NEED TO GO BY BC HE\SHE SAID CAN NOT CONTROL WHAT THE ASSOCIATE'S WEAR SO THAT MEANS IF THE ASSOCIATE'S WEAR THE SAME DIRTY CLOTHES EVERYDAY THE MANAGER IS& WILL NEVER SAY ANYTHING BC NO RULES MIGHTNOT APPLY TO THE ASSOCIATE'S!!🙏 I hv been here on Sunday same price is still $14.18!!🙃😭 &Update:as of; Jan-14-2024 &As for the man wearing the black pants(COVID IS GOING AROUND AGAINSAFE FOR ANYONE TO EAT HERE BC OF THE ANGER THAT THE MANAGER& ASSOCIATE'S HV&SHOW& BC OF THESE REASONS THERE WILL BE LESS CUSTOMER'S ON ANY DAY A CUSTOMER COMES!!👎🙃 The Lunch price In the old building Use to be; $10dollars Then in the old building the price went up to; $11.50&Then when they moved in the new building the price Went to; $12dollars but yesterday I went (1 person)at between the time of 12:pm-1:30pm& The price went to Of(1)person of the price of; $14.18 is it bc of: I was a (1)person Or is it bc of ripping people off I think it is both!! &When I said something about the price&when I said people are struggling there exact words were "We are struggling to"that Means they do not care about there customers they would rather say a smart remark!!&I would very highly recommend to not come here until they get a new owner that cares&A new person at where you pay person does not get mad at the customer&say a smart remark of saying"we are struggling to"& until they change the price!! rating:very pricey &rating:very rude &rating:at the front desk where you pay very argumentive& rating:I have also noticed that the guy who has the black shirt& black pants where's the "SAME"black shirt&"SAME" black pants everytime I come here so that shows not very clean 😔🙏&So i very highly recommend to NOT NOT...

This place has quickly become my favorite Chinese restaurant for price, quality of food, and friendliness of the owners. Winnie and her husband are so sweet and courteous and I have grown to know them just by chatting with them over several years of coming for takeout from their buffet which is always fresh when I have gone (usually on a Friday after work if I happen to be in town but I have also driven to Aberdeen on a Saturday just to eat in with family or get takeout). I don't live in Aberdeen but I will drive an hour to come to this place. The Chinese places closer to where I live weigh the takeout from the buffet (as does this one) but their prices per pound are exorbitant compared to China Garden. Take Peking Wok in Rockingham for instance: if you get a small container of chicken and broccoli, you will be paying 12 or 13 dollars and if they think you may have added seafood to the container, some staff will actually open your box to see what you have, charge extra if you have mostly seafood and keep moving the box around on the scale until the weight shifts enough to make the price go up. I have never seen anyone at China Garden look in my takeout box. I can comfortably get what I want and not be under suspicion that I might be coming to load up boxes with only expensive items. I can spend twenty bucks and feed 3 people and have some left for the next day. Plus, the owners and other staff stay on top of the buffet making sure that it is clean and that the food doesn't run out. I have been to Peking Wok in Rockingham (as well as other places) where you stand around waiting with your empty box or plate waiting for food items to come out while the staff stares at you with derision. If you could read their minds they'd probably be calling us gluttonous pigs and laughing inside. I don't like feeling unwelcome or having to run for the food when it finally comes out. China Garden. Food is good, owners are nice but my only complaint is the waiters 2 in specific, while your in the process of wrapping things up to leave they don't even give you a chance to tip when they are there demanding you for a tip before you even get up. I always leave a tip but if you are demanding the tip before I even get up, it makes you not even want to return or just do take out and not dine in. What about the people that want to leave the tip on there card? If this has happened to me twice now I can only imagine other customers that havent spoken up.
