Food Lion — Local services in Aberdeen

We have liked this Food Lion for years and shopped there regularly. HOWEVER there are now significant issues. First -- customer service is extremely poor. I believe this is a training and supervision issue. There are some good cashiers but many do not greet you, make eye contact, or they will simply talk to another associate while helping you. It can be difficult to obtain assistance. Secondly, with the pandemic so many of the cashiers have their masks pulled down that most of our neighbors (and ourselves) aren't comfortable shopping there anymore. It appears that the management does not enforce the mask policy with employees or is not present on a regular basis. Third, organization and cleanliness. The parking lot and entrance is regularly strewn with trash and the store is often not clean and organized. Food Lion Aberdeen , I had ordered two Apetizer Plates of Chicken Wings last week around 6pm., I was a tad hesitant with the Young Lady who. Didn't seem quite knowledgeable about the Procedure. I Should have taken A Copy of The Order. After the small wedding at the Courthouse ( not ours) we went about gathering up the Food catered from several places. We got to Food Lion around 4pm and the Lady said, " You were supposed to pick them up at 11 am, after a few hours we had to throw them out.) Curious as to why every time I place a pick up order, that is scheduled for at least two hours out, I only have ONE minute to edit/choose replacements... Today, my order was placed @ 1230 for a 5-6p pick up because I am at work... at 1244, I recieved a text saying edit choose replacements until shopping begins. At 1245, I recieved a text saying a Food Lion employee had started shopping. Why the rush?
