Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Aberdeen

I am quite upset with Ross. Their system failed them twice and as a result failed me as well. Was into Ross last Wednesday shopping with my aunt. I purchased my items paid for them and sat on the side in the chair waiting for my aunt to get finished. When Both she completed her Purchases we left. Friday morning I finally got around to taking my items have of the bag as I did not get home until Friday. At that point I found out that to items that I purchased neither one had the security Plastic tag remove. Two items not one had the security tags still on them. To add insult to injury there's security bars that you walk through never alerted the store that they would to tags in my bag not remove. This can be verified by my aunt who was with me the whole Time . I called the store on Friday and was advice that's a manager was not going to be in until a Monday which at that time I am planning to call back as I think it is ridiculous that all these measures are put in place to help the store with deft control which it did nothing and left me now having good drive back to Aberdeen to get these tags removed off the clothing and having just spend my time and gas for their mistakes. I Enjoy shopping at Ross tremendously but this is a ridiculous situation and I hope they do something about remedying it. I can never say anything bad about their clothes or their prices but I am really upset as to having to go back to the store when I normally only go that way maybe once a month as I am retired And do not have the finances to ride up-and-down the road at will. I will be going back to Ross this coming week so I can actually use the purchases that I made since I am afraid to try to take the security tags off that it might damage my merchandise. Ross stores you need to do a better job with your security as I cannot understand how this could have not happened with to safeguard being failed And on 2 separate items. Hassle free returns, great prices, great selection ... what's not to love? You could practically furnish your home, kitchen and closet in the one store. The selection of ladies plus is as big as straight sizes, and very fashionable. The prices on lingerie and shapewear is enough to make you do a double take. And be sure you check out cosmetics. There are gems to be found in that section. I almost gave this 4 stars, because the store can get so cluttered and turned upside down. But that is the doing of the shoppers, not the staff. It's not their fault that some customers are rude and sloppy. Ross is my first place to visit if I have an occasion or need an outfit. I'm never disappointed. I will give you this warning though. If you see something you think you want, but it right then. You can return it if you change your mind. But if you don't buy it and go back a few days later looking for that item, it will likely be sold...

I found some cute stuff at good prices but I think it's so dumb that they have those long poles on the carts that you cannot take the carts outdoors. I was doing Christmas shopping and I had a lot of stuff. I didn't realize that you couldn't take the carts out side. I wondered what that long poles were for. I found out what it was for when I tried to exit and rammed into the threshold of the door and couldn't get out! I was by myself and I had nobody to watch my cart. I had to ask a busy cashier to try to keep an eye on my cart while I ran to my car in the rain, struggled to find a place in the loading zone along with all the other Shoppers who were trying to do the same thing on a very busy night, and pulled up beside the store so that I could load my stuff into my car an arm full of bags at a time.
