It was a weekday at lunch (noonish). Not much (two people) of a line in front of us when we showed up. Everything started normally and as we ordered, the girl behind the counter said "I don't work the register, I'm usually in the back" or something to that effect. Well, she did a great job, handed us our cups, and we moved on. At this point, we realized that the crowd seemed a bit frustrated waiting for their orders. There seemed to be plenty of folks working in the back, but the food coming out was few and far between. You could see the 'ready' order names on the screen, but apparently alot of people walked out after waiting too long. We grabbed a table and waited our turn. Some lady at a table adjacent kept yelling "Hey, is that you? Are you [insert name]? Hey! I'm talking to you. Hello?" Not entirely clear, but we figured out she was talking to us. She was impatiently waiting for her food and was trying to figure out who's order was waiting on the counter. Yeah, not us, but thanks for asking. It was probably about 20 min at this point, we already finished our drinks and went back for refills. Some other patrons were done waiting and left their table with unfinished fountain drinks and a pile of unopened sauces. No one seemed to be getting their food as expected, or when expected. It was like a chaotic filling process in the back where the tickets were thrown in the air and they bagged whichever one came down first. Finally, our name popped up. Went to grab the bag and asked "hey, is this order for Luke?". Response... "no, that's for Henry". Oh, Henry. My name disappeared from the status screen. No food in hand. I guess our ticket landed under the fryer. We continued our conversation at the table, not in any particular rush. People came and went, orders picked up. Pretty consistent flow. That lady who yelled had finished and left. It's about an hour in and we figured let's remind them of our order. At no point would I say the restaurant was crowded in any way, drive thru was busy, but again, not a big time rush. Went back up front and asked if they were ready with our food yet. Some other kid asks our name for the order, he couldn't find it. He asked to see the receipt. I pointed to the pile of papers by the register and said it's probably in there, the girl never gave us one (or anyone else for that matter). We'll, the kid made an attempt to locate it, no luck. We told him what we ordered (could have told him anything at this point) he said OK and disappeared in the back. About five minutes later, order up! I ate my $5 biggie bag and my friend enjoyed his burger and fries. He did initially order a baked potato, but they were out, so they filled the baked potato container with french fries. Same food, different form, I guess? All in all, food was excellent, as usual. Thanks, Dave. I'd go back again. Just make sure your calendar is cleared for...
Read moreThe WORST place to get food from!! I went here around 8:30pm Tuesday night I ordered a big bacon classic burger and a pecan salad first the girl hands me my drink not even filled so I ask her to fill it up she turns around fills it up then takes my payment and hands me my drink back and the salad she then proceeds to ask me to pull up to the door bc they are waiting on my burger so I check my salad bag as anyone would do , there’s no blue cheese on the salad as it states it has mind you she was already out of the building serving the car they had in front of me already pulled up so I stop her tell her there’s no blue cheese on the salad she Grabs the salad from me says omg mind you I didn’t even complain that the salad was half filled as she’s walking back in she comes back out with the salad I checked the bag to make sure she put the blue cheese crumbles on there she did then I realized there’s not chicken on my salad which it includes so I stop her again she goes “well yea we don’t really… the chickens hard and crispy it’s been sitting for a while” I said ok that’s fine i still want the chicken , don’t you think that’s something you tell someone before they order and pay for the food? she said “so you wanna wait?’ I replied yup! That’s fine I’ll wait. She comes back out with another employee must’ve been the manager cause she was on a high horse working at Wendy's lol she says “LOVE we don’t have any chicken” I said that’s fine refund me then she said ok lemme get you’re card I told her no it’s fine I’ll come in and give you my card I go in then I’m told by the same person that said it was fine for me to come in that it was closed lol that I had to go through the drive through mind you I was so angry and flustered I locked my keys in the car which she heard me talking to my grandfather on the phone about , she knew I couldn’t go through the drive thru then I told the employee I’m fine with the chicken you guys have I just want my food she grabs the other lady and she was basically not trying to serve me she said the refund has already been processed and she needed my card so the refund wasn’t fully processed and she declined serving me. NEVER again I’m assuming they all still work at Wendy’s bc of the skills they lack and they can’t even do that...
Read moreI would give this location zero stars if I could and here's why!
You are sitting in the drive-thru for at least 20 minutes waiting to get to the speaker and then once there someone comes on the mic and says I'll be with you in a moment and it takes another 10 minutes (it is said with an attitude in a manner as if you are bothering them). These types of actions are not conducive to fast food restaurants.
Once your order is taken, the person on the other end of the speaker has no customer service skills, attempts to rush the order, is rude and does not want to ensure your order is correct...this is evidenced by the fact I attempted to ensure my order was correct because what was on the screen was not what I ordered.
I live close to this Wendy's location and I have been in the area for about maybe 2 years and I have been to this location maybe four to five times with this being my fifth time. I say this to say that at each time I thought my experience would be different because I arrived at different times of the day for each visit and it has been confirmed that this location presents Wendy's in a very very bad light because nothing has changed and the experience has always been the same. I forgot to mention that cars would leave the drive-thru line on many occasions because it would take so long to place an order. I must admit that I have left the drive thru once before as well.
Here is where I am with this location: I have made an active decision to never attempt to order from this location again! If you are ever in this area and you want Wendy's, please drive to another location because I am confident you will not be satisfied and your experience will be the same as mine. This location is the worst and I say that with every feeling of disdain I can muster!
I will end with informing you that though the area surrounding this Wendy's is very clean and bustling and up and coming, this location is a stain.
I am pretty confident in saying that the reason why this location is the worst is because of the type of personnel that they hire (do what you will with that...
