This place is nuts, and it's surprising that they're still in business.
To be fair, if you can actually get your food it's pretty decent. It's not the best fried chicken, or sides, but it's decent. If you can get it.
This is consistently the single slowest "fast" food place I've ever been. When you pull up in the drive through your wait begins. It'll be 5-10 minutes before they even acknowledge the fact that you're there, if you're lucky they'll even go ahead and take your order.
If you're lucky. And it's the case for every car in line. Bring a book.
So, it's been roughly 15 minutes since you got to the speaker and now you're at the window. Go ahead and break out your book again. Surely, this means your food will be hot and fresh, right? Your naivety is refreshing, dear reader.
Every. Time.
My last trip here, and I do mean last, really took the cake. I ordered, among other things, a plain and dry chicken sandwich and a flounder sandwich with extra tarter sauce. Upon arriving home, I discovered that I had two chicken sandwiches with mayo, one with pickles.
So, back to the "restaurant" I go. When I explained my issue, they said: "Oh, that's because we're out of flounder." "...why didn't you tell me that when I ordered it?"
"Well we gave you a chicken sandwich because it's the same price." "You gave me two wrong sandwiches is what you gave me."
"Well, we can replace the chicken sandwich if you want." "Yes, yes I do freaking want. What about the flounder sandwich."
"I dunno, I guess we can give you something else." "Tenders, then."
They gave me 3 tenders, which cost less than what I paid for the sandwich. And made no effort to make up for my time they wasted. So I filled out a survey on their website. Corporate called me, apologized, and said the local manager would contact me the next day to issue a refund. It has been a week, and I've heard nothing.
Tl;dr This place is terrible in all ways. Both chicken express and golden chick are close, go there instead.

Drive through speaker was broke. Got trapped in line between cars otherwise we would have left. Once we finally got to the drive thru window. Employee took our order 2 combos (Chicken Sandwich and popcorn shrimp) nothing fancy or custom. We paid. We watched him put the order together and then walk off and disappear.
Waited another 10-15 minutes while we watched the lobby employee hang out take some orders and eat near the drive thru window where we were and wander back and forth between the lobby counter and the back kitchen. (Walking past the drive through window). We have now been at this location for about 1 Hr and 10 mins. We can literally see our order. I tapped on the drive through window because the drive thru employee has still not returned. The girl from the lobby comes to the window and asks what we need......I politely asked if what was causing the delay. Their response was “what are you waiting for?” In my head I thinking ....How about our order that is sitting over there on the counter.
This has to be the worst managed Popeyes on the planet. I’m interested in speaking with the Owner or GM for this location. This is the 3rd time I’ve come here in the last 6 months. The two times before were similar but I refused to wait or they didn’t have chicken or something to that effect. This is pretty amazing how poorly this place is operating.

Read moreI've had many issues with this location for many years... from taking over an hour to get food, to getting the wrong order, to just bad customer service. Had an experience about a month ago that finally crossed the line. Ordered delivery fairly early in the morning, to which the order wasn't even acknowledged until over an hour later. When the delivery driver went inside to see what the issue was, she was treated extremely rude my the cashier behind the register. I was told that the manager was trying to smooth things over, but the cashier in question was ignoring his supervisor. After being relayed this information I tried to call the store 3 separate times that morning. Nobody ever answered. I have since tried taking the atrocious service up the corporate chain, to which now it has been a month with 0 communication. I would have been more than happy to address this with someone who at least feigned concern over constant issues than posting this review, but you get what you ask for.
I would encourage you to buy chicken from someone else that actually cares about customer service. And furthermore, I would encourage any delivery service that cares about their drivers to remove this location from delivery services.
