Absolutely incredible experience at Al Sham Willow Grove!

Just had one of the best meals I’ve had in ages and had to share. Ordered the chicken and lamb combo over rice with extra red and white sauces, plus a mango strawberry banana lassi and carrot cake for dessert - every single item was perfection.

The combo platter was HUGE and absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly charred on the outside but so juicy inside, clearly marinated with garlic, oregano and lemon. But the lamb was the real star - tender, flavorful, with that perfect shawarma-style seasoning that had me savoring every bite.

The sauces are what really set this apart though. The white sauce is addictive - creamy, garlicky, with just the right amount of tang. The red sauce brought serious heat with a complex spice blend that complemented the meats perfectly. I was literally mixing both sauces together and putting it on everything!

The mango strawberry banana lassi was a revelation. So refreshing and perfectly balanced - you could taste each fruit distinctly but they worked together beautifully. Thick and creamy without being heavy, and clearly made with fresh ingredients rather than artificial flavors. Perfect for cooling down after all that spice.

Even the carrot cake exceeded expectations. Super moist, perfectly spiced (loved the hint of cardamom!), with cream cheese frosting that was tangy and not overly sweet. You can tell everything is made fresh here.

Staff was friendly and efficient, restaurant is clean and welcoming. Portions are generous - I definitely have leftovers for tomorrow. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get.

This is definitely becoming my new go-to spot. If you’re in Willow Grove and want authentic, delicious Middle Eastern food with that NY halal cart vibe, Al Sham is the place....

I am very disappointed at my 1st experience of this restaurant. I learned about this establishment after having a sample of their catered food at my current job. My co-worker and I had so many mistakes with the order we probably we won’t be visiting anytime soon. I ordered a lamb cheesesteak that did not have the extra lamb or sweet peppers asked. My co-worker ordered a lamb sandwich that was saturated in sauce when she asked for it to be on the side. We both ordered onion rings but the restaurant apparently ran out before Noon? And told our pick up driver that they would replaced with fries. Issue with that is that they informed the driver when she came to pick it up. Then the fries were made.

We ordered 4 lamb kabobs that we thought would be individually wrapped on a skewer. They were thrown in 1 container (without skewers) with the excuse that establishment did not want to be wasteful in-using more than 1 styrofoam container. For the amount of food ordered and money spent, the experience should have been better.

Lastly, with the inefficient use of time on their part on not letting us know about the lack of food (onion rings), our lunch break was limited since our delivery was late. Ordered the food an hour...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at All Shams, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was impeccable, with the staff being both attentive and friendly, ensuring that every need was met promptly.

One of the highlights of our visit was the warm welcome we received from the owner, Rezdi. He went out of his way to ensure we felt at home and valued as guests. His hospitality added a personal touch that made our meal even more enjoyable. It was clear that he takes great pride in his restaurant and is genuinely honored to have each and every customer.
