We went to the pop up they had at the Lantern Festival in Philly. I’ll start off with the fact I was skeptical about this place. The dumplings were round, deep fried, there were cheesesteak dumplings and they give you teriyaki sauce or ketchup to dip. I’m a traditional dumpling kind of person so I pre judged. Then I asked about the dough, was it like gyoza or is it like jiaozi? The woman at the register told me they’re on the thicker side but they’re in between. I LOVE jiaozi and living in NC it’s hard to find anything other than gyoza so I ordered the traditional pork dumplings..I’m so happy I got over myself and tried the dumplings. The dough was the ringer for me, the inside could’ve been trash and I would’ve been satisfied but they just got better the further you got into the bite. I even used the teriyaki sauce to dip them in. I’m super happy I pushed myself out of my box and had the chance to enjoy the dumplings. Next time we go back up to PA we will definitely plan a visit to the store front.

This is my experience at a food truck they had set up. Pros: I had the cheese steak dumplings and they were pretty good. Kind of what you expect. Wasn't too hot to bite in. They were set up at my soccer practice which can be kind of convenient. The size of the dumpling is above average. The person running the truck smiled and didn't take too long. The truck looked kept well and clean. Cons: The first and biggest thing is the price. I know food trucks are not known for having decent prices, but guess I'm just tired of this. $17 for 6 dumplings? This isn't fine dining. They taste ok , but would be better if they had either onions or peppers in the cheese steak dumplings. Or the option for that would be nice. I didn't have much to say about them , mainly because it was really a mediocre experience. This is why the 3 stars. I wasn't impressed or disappointed. Wouldn't go out of my way to find one ,but if there I might get something. I'm Beef and that's where I was.

Dumpling Next time you are in the Glenside area, do yourself a big favor and eat here! We weren’t expecting much more than ordinary dumplings or a bowl with some noodles and seasonings. Boy we were so wrong! We tried 6 different flavors of the dumplings (out of a dozen) and can’t wait to go back and try the other six flavors. We tried Asian Pork, Buffalo Chicken, Cheesesteak, Cheeseburger, Spinach-Mozzarella-Ricotta and Mexican Street Corn. Each dumpling’s filling was so skillfully prepared and tasted exactly like the filling it was. They also had a variety of different flavored noodle bowls. The bowl we ordered was a deconstructed pot pie with noodles! It actually tasted like a chicken pot pie with tiny little carrots and peas, as well as slabs of crust. It was delicious! Six dumplings plus a noodle bowl was plenty of food for my husband and me (we couldn’t finish it all). Extremely tasty and unique.

I was recommended this restaurant by my mother who is a nurse and had a rep bring them lunch which was Humpty’s Dumplings. I order every single day from Wow Bao. Well they closed for renovations and I was so sad. My mom mentioned the dumplings from Humpty’s and I figured why not? To my surprise it was a huge hit! The dumplings are incredibly delicious and there is a nice variety of really good flavors. We LOVE the broccoli and cheese, cheesesteak, chicken parm, and honey chicken chipotle! None of us can eat spicy food or pork so we were thrilled at how many options we had. We ordered one day and also got the Chicken Pot Pie noodle bowl with extra sauce (someone who gave a review said the noodles soaked up all of the sauce and to get the xtra! Amazing recommendation!). It was soooo delicious with a really nice portion size. Hoping to try other bowls too. My family is excited. I went to order the next day AGAIN but it was t on DoorDash- it was a Wednesday. I found out by calling that Wednesday is dollar dumpling day and I could order on their website. No bowls are available but we just got a bunch of the dumplings. They even had delivery as I can’t drive much. They were incredibly helpful on the phone and so kind. I already have my order in my DoorDash cart for tonight. Can’t wait for another chicken pot pie bowl and lots of dumplings. Just have to make sure I know what everyone wants and add anything more that’s needed and we are having it again! We are hooked. When/If Wow Bao does reopen we will be switching back and forth between the two instead of just Wow Bao every single night. That’s saying a lot after having Wow Bao daily for two years straight. This place is REALLY good and I highly recommend it. Give it a a try, you won’t be...

We came to this restaurant because it looked interesting on Groupon and we were greatly disappointed. There were not many vegetarian options so we ended up ordering the spinach and mozzarella dumplings and we got two Asian pear salads. It was only after we placed our order the girl at the cash register told my partner that we could get vegetarian noodles which were not advertised on the menu. My partner came back and asked me if I would be interested in them and I said yes so I went up to go see if we could change our order which was not even made yet and switch a salad for noodles. The cashier said no already placed the order and we can't change it. this was all within 1 to 2 minutes of placing the order.

Our dumplings came out first there was they were deep fried with more spinach than mozzarella in them and they looked like like they could have been purchased from the freezer section of walmart. They were served with a side of pretty bland marinara sauce.

Our salads we're mostly a mix of spring greens with a few shredded up pieces of pear, carrots, and some walnuts with a pear vinaigrette dressing that had a whole bunch of pepper dumped into it. The salad was ok it would habe been good with more of the other stuff and less greens.

Overall the place looksed quite promising and we were very excited to try it but we left disappointed and now we have two more Groupons left to use. hopefully next time it...

We love this place , I think the dessert cheesecake dumpling was for the best of all. The next best that I liked was the honey chipotle chicken which was surprisingly one of the best A must get. When you get the 5 you don't have to choose all of one item you can have one of each which is really cool when that's what I did. I did like the Asian one that goes well with their house barbecue sauce also The Cheesesteak one was delicious the buffalo chicken one was enhanced by there buffalo chicken sauce that was hot just made it over the top. The pork look like it had broccoli rabe in it and was very tasty with their house barbecue sauce. My wife got the roasted cauliflower that she liked and also the peach cobbler that she also liked on that. She got a salad which was a watermelon arugula salad with a watermelon vinaigrette we both agreed that that was delicious. I did feel that it was a little bit pricey as we spent 30 bucks for lunch they do offer daily specials Wednesday looking to be the best of them because on Wednesday you can get any dumpling for $1 which is better than the 5 for $7...
