Asian Garden — Restaurant in Acworth

Super cute and clean place! The workers are so nice and patient. The bathrooms are super clean and the place has obviously been recently remodeled.

The food portions are HUGE, and the food is hot and fresh.

Cons: I’m not super thrilled with the amount of what I am assuming is red food coloring on the orange chicken and jalapeño chicken, but the flavor was pretty good and chicken was crunchy and not over breaded. Very nice!

Side of fried rice was a bit lack-luster. Maybe I got it on a bad day. Was just very bland and tasted more steamed than crisped/charred from the wok.

The food was a little sweeter overall than what I am used to, but the flavor was still very good and the portions make up for it!

Will definitely be back. There is a reason this place has better ratings than other...

Very bad customer service. I simply asked why does the sign say fountain drink with the meal and you are giving me a soda can. She got upset and talking angry with me. I explain to her I was only requesting what you sign says comes with the meal. She said “ when customers say something I tell them to have to get a can soda.” I said ma’am you might want to change the sign because it’s miss leading because with foundation drinks people know they get refills and your sign says fountain drinks. She rolled her eyes at me and sat down 😳. It’s not my fault that you have signs in your lobby that say fountain drinks and a picture of a fountain drink but really you making them get a can soda. I took a picture of the signs ... I wish I could...

Mostly leaving a review so I don’t forget we already tried this again. This was (accidentally) our second time trying Asian Garden and both were not good. The food isn’t so bad I spit it out or anything, but it’s not good either.

I was so excited to see their picture of kung pao chicken on their website, exactly as kung pao chicken should be. Imagine my disappointment when I opened the container and it was nothing like that. No green onions or chiles and a small handful peanuts just tossed on top. I’ll accept the zucchini and one random bit of green bell pepper, but why are there mushrooms, carrots, baby corn, and big chunks of celery???
