Went to the store today because we are having issues with a game. PHILLIPS (if thats even his real name) was clearly hating his life 100%. Didn't even bother to welcome us, didn't even asked if we needed help.. I had to start the conversation because he cleary wasn't interested. Tried to even showed him a video (for proof) and he ignored everything I was trying to explain and said "thats weird, that doesn't happen, we can't do anything if is open.." Well Sherlock How Am I supposed to know something is wrong with the game IF I DON'T OPEN IT? No wonder Game Stop is slowly closing their stores! With these type of customer service? im surprised this store is still open. I even had to call corporate because customers don't deserve to be treated like this. As soon as my son and I walked in he states we close in 7 minutes if there is nothing I can help with then you will need to come back at another time. This is a hard closing time. I advised I had a warranty for a controller. When I purchased this controller in May 2022 I was told that the receipt wouldnât be needed because all the information was in the computer and the stamp was on the box. He (assistant store manager) stated they no longer can look up warranty or any accounts via their computer system and this started in June 2022. Donât shop here they sold a warranty and refuse to honor. This place is probably going to out of business soon. At least I hope they go out...
