I have always been a loyal fan of Moe’s. Dating back to the early 2000s when I was in high school, and it was mine and my sister‘s “thing” to go as often as we could, and even now, 2+ decades later it’s still our “thing”. I prefer it over all of the other similar restaurants around, and tell everybody I know who’s never tried it to go there. Even when I lived in Colorado, and there was only one in the entire state, which was three or four hours away from where I lived, I would make that drive just to go to Moe’s (before that location closed and I was so sad!). All that to say, I really love Moe’s, and it hurts me to write this review. I guess I’m not even sure if it’s Moe’s or their delivery service that is the problem here, but it’s probably a combination of both today. Let’s start with the salsa. Yes the free salsas that come with every meal - where if you’re dining in, you can get as many as you want. But if you are ordering delivery, it is up to somebody in the restaurant to put the salsa in your bag. This location needs to get it straight who is responsible for this task. Is it a Moe’s team member? Then make sure it is done! Or is it the delivery driver‘s job? In that case, somebody inside of Moe‘s needs to communicate this to the drivers! I am constantly missing my salsa when I order from this location. Today I actually got 3 salsa cups in my bag, but I was due 5. Also the types of salsa were incorrect and the one that was correct had two bites in it, not even joking. Well you can’t talk about salsa without talking about chips - this location tends to put as few chips in the bag as possible to make sure they can fit all the entrées, salsa, juice, boxes, etc. etc. into one bag. Even if that means not enough chips for the amount of entrées that were ordered. Typically, the bag is less than 1/4 filled with chips. And now onto the last note about the “free items” that come with the entrées you order at Moe’s. I have not once ever received any cup of sour cream that is supposed to come with the entrées that I’ve ordered for delivery from this restaurant. Again, is this task supposed to be handled by a Moe’s employee or a delivery driver? Figure it out! I expect these items, but as they are “free”, I can’t rightfully call the store after I get my delivery and complain that I didn’t get them! Now, for my order today, specifically, every single item was poorly crafted. My salad had an embarrassingly tiny amount of dressing, The quesabirria tacos had hardly any cheese on the outside and the inside was laughable, and the kids quesadillas have definitely looked better. Just really yummy smelling disappointment for lunch today. I’m going to give this location one more chance for delivery, but I have truly little faith.

This MOE'S SOUTHWEST GRILL ACWORTH LOCATION Customer Food Service is so bad that if the review allowed images instead of stars to show how bad the service was this location would get the "THUMBS-DOWN". I ordered a vegetarian burrito with rice, tomatoes, and cheese to go for someone to deliver. The presentation (see photo) was so messy and nasty looking that I just had to ask them to rewrap the burrito with another tortilla to cover the outside so it would at least look presentable. "The food service manager Emily", was so hyped about their/the store's food cost, that she proceeded arguing about cost through the glass partition with customers lined all the way to the door waiting to place their order. I definitely heard how important it is for the store to cut cost and save money. I wanted my burrito to look edible and not with the black beans all side of the burrito wrap. I just had to take photos of what they wanted to give me because I couldn't believe that they wanted to present this mess to a customer to eat, as opposed to courtesy customer service. Prior to yesterday I had never felt the need to take out my camera phone out to video the exchange of a food service manager ranting about them having to save cost to a customer. I did contact the owner "Scott Paton" to tell him about my experience in his store and within 2mins of the call, I realized that he in fact had stressed saving money and them making money. I will never go back to this location again. They're too busy catering to themselves first and not the needs of good customer service...

I went to this Moe’s location yesterday (7/6/25) around midday and ordered a burrito with cilantro lime rice, black beans, steak, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, cilantro, fresh jalapeños, sour cream, and chili lime sauce. I don’t know which of those ingredients was the culprit, but 2 hours later at around 2pm, I began showing symptoms of food poisoning (stomach cramping, nausea, low grade fever, and other nasty symptoms I won’t make y’all read about). I recall that almost none of the “hot” ingredients in my burrito were actually hot, the steak was lukewarm and the rice was mushy. The cheese didn’t melt like it usually does. I only ate half of the burrito and I’m glad I didn’t push myself to eat the rest, who knows how much sicker I would have gotten. I finally feel better this morning after a long, unpleasant night. I know it was the Moes food that did it because I literally hadn’t eaten ANYTHING ELSE that day. Only thing I’d trust from this Moe’s location now would be the drinks, unfortunately.

Well, I’ve eaten here frequently and until tonight I haven’t had any issues. To be honest I’m quite irritated and fired up. I left the lake at 7:30 pm and stopped in the parking lot to place a pickup order from Moe’s in Acworth. The order went through at 7:35 pm for one Taco meal kit and one Fajita meal kit totaling $125 and some change. Pickup time was 8:12. I sent my oldest son (23) to grab it for me as I have done many times before with this same order and upon arriving at 8:13 he was told they were still putting it together and then told it had already been picked up. Obviously we had not done so yet. They took plenty of time to “try and figure it out” instead of jumping in and remaking the order that they had given away to someone else. See, Moe’s thinks it’s convenient to place online/app/delivery orders on a shelf or table for pickup instead of behind their counter. The customers name is on the sticker on the outside of the meal kits so all someone had to do was walk up, glance at the name and state that was them and they were picking up their order. They do not check for order numbers, email proof or any other proof. The workers tonight decided they did not feel like remaking the order as they were close to closing (at 9pm) even though this was placed at 7:35 and it was currently a quarter past 8. By the time they decided to issue a refund and figure out how to do so as there was no manager on duty it was 8:50. For somewhere that I frequent so often and have had no issues with (but always gave the side eye for their pick up process) I’m beyond upset. We will see if the money was correctly refunded but Moe’s should take a look into their pickup process as well as into employees effort towards the job and customers. I guess I’ll be ordering from the Moe’s closer to Barrett Parkway from now on if I get a craving or just order to go from the Mexican restaurant...

This was my first visit to this particular (Moe's) and it was definitely an eye sore. Upon entering it was very noticeable regarding the team of workers behind the preparation food line and seeing the food I knew that I wasn't buying anything from this restaurant. It had the worst display I have seen in any (MOE'S).

The appearance of selections were dried and looked as though they had baked and burned in an oven. There were dried juices around the inner sides of each pan displayed in the steam table. There were dark lines of dried juices from each topping, the food splatters had visibly dried so hard around each pan and looked disgusting as though they hadn't been cleaned in several days and it was obvious that no one bothered to replace the hideous containers with a clean container, nor bothered to wipe around the sides of the serving table or the window glass so that a customer could view their choices of toppings. The team worker's weren't friendly at all and displayed a lack of service policy on how to greet customers. There was one specific server who made it obvious that she didn't want to be there period, her mannerism showed laziness, anger and a dislike of customers in general. The interior wasn't up to standards and the tables and floor fit the overall interior appearance of the establishment. After experiencing an unpleasant greeting I decided that I did not want any service from this particular (MOE'S) and I hope someone within Corporate Management can rectify such poor conditions and poor service.

The next Moe's nearest me was located in Dallas, Ga, on Dallas Hwy and my entire experience at the Dallas location was a five 🌟 and represented the Moe's franchise very well. In fact the Dallas location could definitely teach this particular location and it's Employees how to service and represent...
