I have been coming here since it opened and the food was always exceptional. It had a special taste to it and I could never find anything that was even close for many many years recently return to Adams, Massachusetts, and since the establishment has reopened the dining room I decided to try, and take a walk down memory lane. Unfortunately the wonton soup was cold room temperature at best. I ordered crab Rangoon and I’m not exactly sure what those were but they were just stuffed with regular cream cheese and they didn’t look like crab Rangoon. The cashew chicken was not really edible. The beef with broccoli was my favorite meal and instead of getting the nice crisp and well seasoned beef and broccoli. The Broccoli was not cooked all the way, so it was still raw when I bit into it and as for the beef, it tasted the way it usually used to, but there wasn’t really a lot of beef. With the price I was expecting the same food that I had come to love and enjoy, but unfortunately, I could not give this place a better rating or a pass because it really was that bad, the only saving grace that it was the pork fried rice was exactly as I remembered, and the tea was exactly as I remembered, but other than that, I don’t think I will ever eat here again because I want to remember it as it was and try to forget the...
Read moreI just took a few bites of the WORST Chinese food ever!!!! The Chicken Lo Mein was so dry, both the noodles and chicken. I had to take a drink of water with every mouthful so it would go down. The duck sauce tasted like it had been rotting on a counter somewhere for months. The Crab Rangoon filling was so dry and chunky it almost looked like cottage cheese. Oh the Generals chicken was full of grissle. Cant forget about the fried dumpling sauce.... that was just straight up soy sauce with a few green onions in it. This place is by far the worse Chinese food I have ever looked at, touched and tasted! Do your self a favor and avoid disappointment and stay away from Chee's Chinese Cuisine in Adams MA. I just moved here from what these folk around here would say a big city and have been many places and by far this is so...
Read moreTried Chee's for the first time last night since Meng's apparently is no longer good since they transferred owners. The reviews for Chee's were good, so we thought let's try it.
The staff at Chee's were very polite and accommodating. The chicken fingers were very good, as were the chicken wings. The crab rangoon were so bad I threw them out. I believe there was ginger in it and there were no scallions/green onion. Ginger does not pair well with cream cheese and crab IMO.
The hot and sour soup tasted rancid, it had the taste of a dirty ice makers ice, a very particular off putting taste. I threw it out as well. The lo mein was bland and needed extra soy sauce to make it edible, I also asked for spicy and did not get it. They were also pretty busy at the time and it took over an hour for delivery. I guess we will try...
