M & J's Taste of Home Diner — Restaurant in Adams

Tried the food truck during the Bennington food truck festival. Very nice people..but sub par eats. Roughly 10 trucks attended. This was the first stop due to have kids with no pallets😂. So they always want burgers and dogs. Would not recommend unless you want food similar to everyone else's. Nothing note worthy.

Also they seem to think I don't know where I was. Yea. It was my first stop. And there were only like ten truck/food tents. Maine lobster , Turkish gents selling Greek style. Jamaican , taco, cotton candy table. A BBQ truck, yours was the only one selling burgers and dogs. They just don't seem to handle criticism well. I def could of mixed up prices as this truck left us hungry...so we ate elsewhere.

More than just a diner, a real taste of home. Home baked goods like thumbprint cookies, but talking about desert gets ahead of the story. This diner was recommended by a local and they delivered above expectations. You knew as soon as you walked in that most of the customers were regulars. The staff was so happy and pleasant, Logan was our waitress and was superb. I had the Jim's Cuban on a pressed sub roll with mac & cheese, a different take that was delicious. She had the hamburger (big) and fries which were outstanding. Many items not usually found on a diner menu, and the breakfast meals all had names (instead of numbers?) on the big white board behind the counter; a very local touch. A lovely little gem in the heart of Adams! Clean, well-maintained, and full of charm. We were pleasantly surprised by our meals— I had the brisket benedict (absolutely incredible!) and my husband got the pulled pork sandwich, which he really enjoyed. There was a small mix-up with my order, as I had asked for the eggs not to be runny, but the owner came out personally to apologize with such genuine kindness. She even gave me cupcakes to-go just to make up for the mistake— such a thoughtful gesture!
