Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Addison

Skip this location if you get a craving for Chipotle. They take "reserved portions" to a whole new level. The lady literally put HALF a spoon of rice and half a spoon of beans in my bowl. Then it was like she literally counted out four pieces of chicken. I laughed and asked for proper portions and she looked at me funny. So I spelled it out for her, a FULL spoon of rice, beans, and chicken. She add a LITTLE bit more as in so little it still didnt fill half the bowl....I am serious, not even half the bowl. With added toppings it never got close to the top of the bowl. When they marked the bowl they charged me double...FOR EVERYTHING! I have never seen this before. Double rice, double beans, and double meat. I did not notice until she rang me up...$21.96!!! I laughed and said why so expensive. Then she explained. I reached over and took the lid off the bowl and said, "Does this look like double anything much less double of 3 different items???" I showed the people in line and everyone shook their heads no...roughly 6 people in line. I put the lid back on and said I am not paying for that and left. In the parking lot as I sat in my truck a lady that was behind me in line came to my window and said when I walked out they threw my bowl in the trash! So you lost a customer AND you still ended up wasting food. Real smart!

This is starting to happen more and more at most Chipotles you go to. The same thing happened years ago with Subway. Portion sizes get smaller as cost goes up. This will probably be my last meal...

I came in about 9 pm tonight and place was clean, staff served me and treated me like a human being. Regardless if I was a late night customer I was given quality service and got what I needed. I dined in and didn't feel rushed. Lady who made my food was nice and the person who charged me Kimberly gave great customer service. I don't expect high quality restaurant service when going to chipotle, I know they aren't Chic Fil or some nice dine in restaurant. If I feel they are skimping on a bowl or something I order I'll just keep it moving and go somewhere else. I haven't had any issues in the 10-15 plus times I have been here. Inflation and portion control is everywhere. Chipotle did the same thing as Subway they hooked up fat portions to get you hooked and now like everything else it's expensive and the deals aren't around anymore. As long as they are not directly rude to me or make it obvious they hate my guts or make me feel unwelcome just make my bowl and charge me and were straight. Different strokes for different folks. Just speaking on my personal experience with this...

The service I received today was absolute garbage. I wish I would have grabbed the lady's name fixing my bowl but I can say she was very unprofessional. First off her attitude towards a paying customer sucks. I asked her for red sauce on the side and she acknowledged me but acted like it was an issue to give me what i asked for. I pay for my food, drive home, get home with my wife and newborn son to eat but end up having to get back out because she did not give me my red sauce I asked for. I have to fight school traffic to go back and politely wait in line again to re ask for my sauce once again. She trys to hand me my sauce not in a bag but also with sour cream all on the side of it. I ask her to please give me a bag and she breathes loudly, tosses my sauce in bag and at me and walks away. This was very frustrating to me.I am a very polite person and I found this very rude. I would definitely not recommend this Chipotle off the experience I just had. Been going to Chipotle since the beginning but I will definitely not be returning to this location...
