As a loyal fan of LaPasha Houston, which has been my go-to spot whenever I visit family or work in the area, I was excited to see them finally open in Dallas—long overdue! We visited on Thanksgiving, and it was the perfect time as it wasn’t too crowded. The venue is stunning, with a great vibe, ample parking, a beautiful patio, and even a kids’ playground. The playground was a big hit with the kids—safely located within the patio, clean, and well-maintained, making it a wonderful addition for families dining here. We ordered the Chef’s Special, which includes beef chops, chicken kofta, and chicken tikka, along with two sides. We chose fattoush and hummus. Priced at $32 and advertised as a family-style dish for 2-3 people, the portions felt uneven. The meat portion was perfect for two people, the fattoush salad was sufficient for 1-2, but the hummus was shockingly small—served on a plate the size of a tea saucer, it felt more like a tasting sampler. Having dined at LaPasha Houston countless times, this seemed like a mistake in the kitchen, likely due to unfamiliarity with proper portion sizes. In addition to our shared entrée, we ordered kids’ meals, which the kids enjoyed, and several appetizers. Their spicy fries are a must-try—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The food itself was delicious, but the service left much to be desired. Our waiter was clearly new and unfamiliar with the menu, and the kitchen struggled to keep up, resulting in long wait times. There were multiple mistakes with our orders, but the managers did their best to check in, apologize, and make up for the delays, which was appreciated. One notable difference was the pricing compared to Houston. Appetizers were $2-3 more, entrees $10+ higher, and kids’ meals doubled in price from $6-8 to $15 (although they now include dessert in Dallas). While market-based pricing adjustments are expected, the increases felt significant. On a positive note, the hookah service was excellent—charcoal changes were timely, and everything was handled with care. The reason for giving 3 stars instead of 5 comes down to the service and portion inconsistencies, which need improvement. The staff needs more training to become familiar with the menu and the attentive, polished service LaPasha is known for. I got lucky and missed out on the mandatory valet but did have to pay for the $3 waters which for a family was a meal in itself. LaPasha Dallas has incredible potential. The food, venue, and family-friendly features like the playground are fantastic. Once the team smooths out the service and portions, I have no doubt it will reach the same stellar level as its Houston counterpart. Looking forward to returning!

I have ate in the restaurant before and the steamed veggies were soggy and the food was lacking flavor along with the server being non existent I had to go get my drink inside because she never brought it. I decided to give them another shot months later and I deeply regret it. I ordered through Uber eats I specifically asked for extra sauce and I ordered a drink. The rice taste like straight ginger, I never got my drink. I never got the sauce and the roasted potatoes come in some nasty chili sauce, but does not have that listed on the details online so I came into the restaurant to have them fix my order and of course there is no one at the front reception. I had to wait for at least five minutes for someone to come out and ask me if I needed help. I gave them my order and showed two different people the order on my phone then someone else came out to ask for the order again and check it in the system, which was kind of disrespectful to me being that I’ve already showed two people and instead of giving me a fresh plate they gave me back my old food which had the potatoes that I did not like on it I was expecting them to remake my order and switch my sides because that is what any other restaurant would do to accommodate their customers for the inconvenience, I asked them, What do they do for these type of inconveniences since I ordered online I had to come in and also wasted my gas and they told me to contact Uber eats the customer service here is absolutely comical I see why you guys are hiring for every position. I will not be returning and I’ll be taking up a complaint with your corporate office. Any other restaurant would offer you something extra for the inconvenience and just to show that they value their customers but they don’t share those values here. Also a worker tripped over my foot and didn’t even say excuse me just continued to walk. Believe the other reviews About the food and service they are not lying. If you do have a taste for this type of cuisine try Zatar, or Turkish cafe, you will not be disappointed.

Been to the Addison location a total of about 4-5 times. I’ve had nothing but below par experience each time. Hurts my heart to be writing this review but management MUST know at this point! Our last visit, last week was just horrible. I want to start off with the quality of the food first - my husband and I came to visit a few friends and eat. We ordered a Chicken Shish Tawook Platter and Hummus - the food came out 30 minutes later cold and the chicken was rock hard. I don’t think I’ve ever not been able to cut through chicken. 🤦🏻‍♀️ How do you serve such food after a long wait? It’s not even warm. Then, to top it off, after informing the server (not going to take any names)- we tell them please just change out the chicken - rest of the stuff we’ll manage. That way by the time the chicken is ready we can have the rest of the stuff. The manager comes after a 15-20 minute wait and informs us the kitchen is closed. We then explained to him we’ve been waiting for a resolution for 20 minutes and this is what comes out of it? We then again politely requested that if they could just remake the chicken and we will continue with the rest of the food - he says let me just replace the whole plate and takes it with him. He comes back another 10 minutes later and informs us that the kitchen is closed and nothing can be done. Now we’re left with no food. 😞 I don’t think I ever imagined this would be the quality of service or food at La Pasha. Sad that the service and quality of food keeps getting worse each visit. Honestly, disappointment would be an understatement. Constantly debating going back every-time La pasha comes up in our group of friends. 😒 We’ve been visiting the La Pasha location in Houston for yearsssss and have had absolutely nothing but EXCELLENT experience with their food AND service.

Went for the 1st time, on Eid day, & the overall experience was not good & very poor. I believe this was the 1st time they organized a buffet & it was chaotic, unorganized, & extremely mismanaged.

I called at least 10 days ago to do a reservation for 9. I clearly asked if there is a time slot for us to come within & were told no. Instead, I was told to just walk in anytime between the buffet hours. I was asked if I prefer to seat inside or outside & I chose inside. I spoke with Talal & he got all of my information.

Come Eid day, we arrived around 11:30 AM & it was already full of people who were sitting everywhere. I checked in & gave my phone # & name. Guy at the counter looked at his messy notepad, with information written all over, & told me with straight face that he doesn't have my reservation! I gave him the name of the person (Talal) I talked to & it turned out that he was the guy I reserved with. Obviously how is he going to find my name if his notepad has millions of information written everywhere? On top, the audacity of lying that there is no reservation was just the icing on the cake. We were also told that bunch of people didn't show up for their reservation but showed up late when their seating was given away & that is why the whole chaos. However, I blame the restaurant management for this as if no time was given to them then why would they expect people to show on time?

After some back & forth we were told to sit outside. I politely told Talal that first, my reservation was messed up & now we are told to sit outside how is this fair when I clearly asked for inside during the reservation? We were then giving the option to sit inside but to vacate by 1:40 PM. By this time it was already 12 PM & we were all tired & hungry. I reluctantly agreed to sit inside with the time restriction.

The way to get to the food was horribly blocked & inconvenient as it was through the front counter which was fully blocked by the people waiting to be seated with more people pouring in & nowhere to go!

Lamb Mansaf was good but very salty. Bread were cold & little hard to chew on. Food & plates were getting empty & running out fast but the refill was slow & most of the times has to be called out by the guest. Same with the juices & tea where it was running out fast yet refill was slow & only when brought into attention.

They had waffles & crepes but the line was long! As this was the most popular item among adults & children, everybody was in the line. Unfortunately, management didn't think that this obvious item will be a hit as they only had 1 machine of waffle maker & 1 pan for making crepes! I don't know why but this was a really poor planning by the management.

At 1 PM, even though we still had 40 minutes left as agreed upon with Talal earlier, one of the other co-owners showed up & asked us to leave as soon as possible as they had reservation for another group. This was beyond my believe & frustration as, first, they messed up our reservation, then second, we agreed upon a set time but now they are not keeping up their own words & asking us to leave as soon as possible?

Dirty dishes were picked up but the service was very slow. At the time of checkout I saw 15% in the name of "Service Charge." I am not sure if this was because we had a group of 9 or everybody were getting charged of this. On their buffet advertisement there was no mention of the Service Charge & only per person price was listed. I didn't want to write any extra tip but then the server told us that the service charge is only going to the kitchen staff! This was again beyond my believe as why 15% Service Charge is not distributed across everyone & why the servers are asking for more tip even though the service was not great!

Overall, definitely a poor experience. Very obvious that management had no experience with buffer, no planning for the expected massive crowd, & were just lost. I hope they learned some lessons from this experience & hopefully will be better prepare the next time should they decide to continue their luck...

Absolutely the Best Hookah Lounge and Mediterranean Food in Dallas!

I’ve visited La Pasha Hookah Lounge three times in three days, and I can confidently say it’s a game-changer for the Dallas area. The grand opening was packed, and while the service was understandably slow on day one, it was well worth the wait. By day three, they had completely ironed out the timing issues—we received our food and hookah within 15 minutes of ordering!

The food here is unbeatable. The mixed grill is hands down the best Mediterranean dish I’ve had in Dallas—delicious, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The consistency is impressive, which can be rare for new restaurants. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality of their food remains exceptional every time.

The hookahs are just as impressive. They’re fresh and smooth, with the option to upgrade to a prestige hookah that’s worth every penny. I believe mine had an ice chamber, as it was perfectly chilled, enhancing the overall experience.

Service has also been fantastic. While we had to wait a bit for a table on opening night (to be expected in Addison on a busy Friday), by day two, they seated us immediately, and we were able to sit near the park area—a bonus for families since the kids loved the play area. The staff is incredibly accommodating, constantly checking in to ensure everything is perfect. From the front-of-house team to the servers, and even the owners, the entire team goes above and beyond.

What truly stands out is how quickly they adapted and improved within just a few days of opening. By day three, everything was running like clockwork. The wait times were minimal despite the restaurant being busy, and the service was exceptional.

As someone who used to visit their Houston location every time I was in town, I’m thrilled they’ve opened here in Dallas. La Pasha has become my go-to spot for amazing food, top-notch hookahs, and a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you to the entire team for your hard work, consistency, and attention to detail. Oh, and thank you for the Yeti cup—it’s the little touches like that which make this place extra special.

See you all again...
