This gym seemed great at first. They set the massage chairs to falsely advertise 30mins of massage time when the chairs are actually set for like 10mins. The hot plunge water is slimey and green with a thick layer of foam at the top. Trainers are rude and damn near harass you to train with them. I repeatedly received notifications for personal training session appointments that I never scheduled & the crazy part is that these appointments were scheduled for the times that I normally workout. Without my consent. The employees lack basic comprehension/ communication skills. Its almost like they have a sense of grandeur being as they work for a "higher quality" gym, but that cold, unwelcoming, ARROGANT attitude should be received at Planet Fitness for $10. Seriously these employees need a training session on customer service. Mia is the only person who had outstanding customer service throughout this whole experience. Maybe we should have Mia do a group training session. I usually try to be as kind as possible and not cause issues but my card was charged $190 for 1 month for no reason. This incident has caused me to be late paying my rent as a single mother and I'm facing late fees now. I called to let them know ahead of time that I needed this money back in my account by the 1st and they did absolutely nothing. Didn't care. Just said it's going to take 3-5 business days. I'm extremely sad that a gym with so much potential lost me due to the horrific customer service. Apparently corporate and managers for this location are all aware of my situation and not a single person has extended a apology, a call back, or initiated any type of communication regarding this matter. I've literally had to call to receive updates myself everytime...the embarrassment and stress this has caused is not worth the price at all. I've never felt so humiliated at a...
Read moreI’m leaving a 5-star review because I don’t want to harm the gym’s overall reputation — the facilities are great and the concept is exciting. That said, I do feel genuinely frustrated by our experience so far.
My husband and I had been eager to join this gym since last year. As soon as we heard enrollment was open, we rushed back from a trip and I immediately called to confirm what was needed. I was told it was just a matter of showing up. However, when I arrived, there was no one available to help with enrollment. By the time we managed to sort everything out, it was already the second week — and the pricing had changed. That was our first big disappointment.
When we finally enrolled, we were encouraged to get the top-tier “Will Power” plan, which includes several premium perks — one of which was free towel service. My husband and I each signed up for that plan expecting to enjoy the full range of advertised benefits.
But on day one, at the grand opening, when I requested a towel, the staff member wasn’t sure how it worked and had to ask a manager. That’s when I was told the towel service only applies to those who enrolled in the first week — something that had never been mentioned to us before. Instead, we’d now have to pay an extra monthly fee for it.
So to sum up: we missed the lower pricing due to unclear communication, then signed up for a premium plan based on perks that we’re not actually getting. We’re now paying more than expected for less than what was promised. I hope this feedback helps the team improve the enrollment and communication process going forward — we’re still hopeful for a better...
Read moreThe facilities themselves are gorgeous. Lots of machines, a great layout, great amenities. It was a little chilly in there though.
Too bad the staff is atrocious. The person that checked me in for the free week pass acted as if I was a huge bother. Sorry you had to stop staring into space for five seconds to type in my phone number. When I approached the counter with a protein shake to purchase, the front desk space cadet sighed loudly before ringing me up. I inquired about a membership, and he stared blankly at me until another person stepped in and told me, “Yeah, they’re all busy. You’ll have to wait. You can go work out or something.” I asked how long; ten minutes, no biggie. However, she and the space cadet just walked off and resumed staring into the void. No one even told me where to wait or went to tell whoever handles memberships that someone wanted to sign up for one. When I asked if there was somewhere specific I should wait, I received another annoyed reply that made it clear I should really stop asking questions and let the staff go back to gossiping and admiring the ceiling tiles.
I drove to Fitness Connection down the road and was greeted warmly by the staff who promptly and POLITELY helped me sign up for a membership.
Guess EōS Fitness blew all their money on great facilities and saved absolutely nothing to pay staff enough to pretend to care about customers...
