Ms. Lia gave me great suggestions on how to eat muesli cereal with a healthy twist plus chia like breakfast in a Mason jar. Wonderful sharing staffs @ the store. Mr. Kai Deming, local college grad, is super friendly and patient with answering questions. Mr. Deming also made suggestions for some bakery choices. I've learned so much about German Tolle cake during Christmas. Kai also shared his experiences when he stayed in Alaska for his studying. Check out the fabulous traditional Austrian/ German bakery. Must try their pretzels according to the owner's recommendations. German style...pretzels with sweet mustard in the morning plus a cup of your favorite coffee. Pinkberry fro-yort inside the bakery store, too. Bought my kids' favorite creme brulee. Definitely try lemon meringue tart, princess cake, eclairs, and so many other goodie choices. The Bake house is great place to meet old friends and new. I met my kid's kindergarten classmate who's super nice and friendly. Also reconnected with her parents while shopping for desserts. Support local merchants and you'll be surprised whom you might see at the shop. 5 stars customer services and great locale...

I could easily compare Emil's to a number of cafes I visited in Paris, except Agoura Hills in December is exponentially nicer than Paris. An added plus is the staff is also nicer, and laughed at my feeble attempt to order in French, where Parisians glared within disdain, forcing me to point, although I was certain they all spoke English. ...
