I'm writing this review to clarify some things for people that may look to these reviews to make a decision. First, I go to Dunkin Donuts A LOT. It is my preferred coffee place, and the North Augusta one both because of work and where I live is the one I frequent most often. Some weeks almost every day. I say that to leave the following review: When this particular store is 'ON' they are superb. I have come to know many of the staff well, and respect the work they do as I do with most customer service jobs. Dealing with the public can be trying at best. Many people these days are quick to judge and render verdict but don't want the mirror turned around. I have noticed though when this Dunkin is 'OFF' it is REALLY BAD. You can always tell when they have less than capable new hires, or when staff works that either doesn't work a particular shift or just don't give a damn. Lately, this Dunkin has been mediocre at best. I frequent it at odd hours, not always during the weekday or the morning shift. Some of the staff there of late is borderline rude, unmotivated, and obviously there for the paycheck...if that. Many times the same thing I order can taste markedly different. Anyone knows that with a business that trains correctly and expects the employees to do their work correctly, there would not be that much variation in quality. I will also add that Dunkin corporate and their customer service, have a TON of work to do to get it right. I take the surveys both for good and bad reviews, and rarely get a reply of any kind. If I do, they throw free coffee at me and nothing changes. Form follows function in my experience. All this stated...I do still love my North Augusta Dunkin, and will not leave Dunkin for any other chain. However, give me a pop-up coffee hut with exceptional service and I would. Please guys in North Augusta...get back to your better service standards. I hate to see the...
Read moreI hate that I am having to do this but as a customer that lives literally 2 minutes away and I go to this dunkin at the least 4 times a week, I don’t have any other option. I have voiced my concerns at the store several times and nothing is done. I have spent loads of money here and tried to give it time but enough is enough. I don’t know why there is a problem everyday almost. I have heard just in the past week that they are out of creamer, out of egg, out of egg followed by the oven is being cleaned(in the middle of the day?), nothing is allowed to be cooked, and they are no longer serving that item. I got 12 donuts today and they were so cold I thought they were in the refrigerator. Even with all these issues, the items are still charged to my card. Also, the past couple times I have went inside there is not a soul at the front and the door sounds when you walk in, but I stand there waiting for at least 5 minutes and nobody acknowledges me. When they do, they look at you and ask what you need……..and It should be easy to greet customers and ask them what they would like to order but that doesn’t happen. Not a soul has proper training and I know that a large iced coffee gets 4 flavor, 4 sugar, 4 creamer but lately I have gotten the large with 1 of each. This franchise owner needs to know that they are running this location in the ground and they need to get it together. Also, your customers are not getting any resolutions on anything. Not once have I had a manager resolve something, because I have never been contacted back or been able to speak to one. This location used to be the best, so much so that I stopped going to Starbucks because it was top notch but now it is so incredibly bad....
Read moreI usually dont write reviews but I had such a bad experience with this location I feel like something should be said.
I placed an online order before leaving town this morning. I pulled up pick up my order and they informed me they didn't have part of it. No big deal, we made a substitution and moved on. I pulled up to the window and they handed me one drink and told me to have a good day. I told her there was more to my order so she looked. She came back and asked me what I had. I told her and she seemed to remember the order and went back. A few minutes later she brings me another drink and bids me a good day. Again, I tell her there is more to my order. And, my drink is wrong. She read the label on the cup and said no it's right. I told her it wasn't what I ordered even though my name was on it but I'd keep it, just bring the rest of my order. A few more minutes. She brings my sandwiches and wishes me a good day, again. Now, I ordered the $6 meal deal. A cold coffee, a sandwhich, and hash browns. I ordered two meals. Let's do the math here, this order has six items. I look in the bag and there are no hash browns. We go through it again, she checks the order, and asks me to wait. Several minutes pass and she finally hands me the bag. At this point I left because there was nothing else to mess up. Until my son reached into the bag and we only had one hash brown order.
My problem is this. I ordered exactly what I wanted. There was no middle man to input anything I correctly. My order went directly to the store. Yet they only managed to get two items out of six correct. And they acted like I was the problem.
Won't waste...
