Made recent trip to this Zaxby’s location and I have to say it would be worth driving to the Knox avenue location to not have to deal with the rude workers. First off I ordered two big Zak snacks and a few other items. My total was 32 dollars before using any coupons. I had a “buy one get one free big zack snack” promotion when I prompted the worker to use it she just stared at me and then said “okay I used it your total is 32 dollars” I said how is that possible when you didn’t even scan my coupon ? ….and my order was already 32 dollars before promotions. She then said “ the scanner we have is broke” I said well can you manually give me the discount?Then she pulled the scanner out and used it. This proved she was completely lying the whole time about the scanner being broke. I’m not sure why she had a problem with me using a valid promotion , I guess this locations workers don’t like loyal customers redeeming promotions. Then I apparently took too long to retrieve my drinks from her and she turned around at another worker and said “he’s about to piss me off”. This is one of the worst encounters I have ever had at this location ,every time I come here they are usually rude. I will no longer be going here and will instead drive to the north Augusta location because the customer service here is the worst I have had. Read moreCheck your order before you leave drive thru. Repeated my order back twice. Got to window and couldnt tell me which drink was which so we had to taste to see who's drink was whose. Got the order I checked the receipt stuck to bag because when ordering it was like she couldnt hear me and they have messed it up before. The receipt was right got home and still had the wrong food in my box. Had to go back then wait on cashiers who apparently were having issues with phone in order. Then the manager looks at me and says did you bring receipt like I was trying to get something free. Lady just give me the food I ordered and payed for and we wouldnt even be having this convo. Any how I said yes its stuck to the bag on the service window thats been sitting there waiting for them to correct for like 4 minutes now. Then acts like Im a nuissance cause they screwed up the order to start with. Do better and I wouldnt have to drive back up here to fetch what I ordered in the first place and when you screw up dont blame the customer. Then dont even apologize about my inconvenience. No more yall got me twice now I'll go to different zaxbys...
Read moreI’ve had two consecutive horrible experiences here. Almost a year ago, I waited 30 minutes in the drive-through before I get to the ordering screen, hear nothing for 5 minutes and then another customer pulls beside me and tells me that nobody is working the drive-through! I went inside and waited another 40 minutes to get my food. After that, I told myself that I’d never eat at this store again, even though it’s much closer to my house than the one on Knox. Today, I decided to give them another try, and nothing has changed. I went inside to order (after watching the person in the drive-through waiting for 5 minutes to order), and I ordered 6 items for my family of four, waiting for me in the car. After 30 minutes, they asked me for my receipt because they lost my order. I didn’t get my food until 44 minutes after I ordered, and the white cheese bites we love tasted like burnt oil. I love Zaxby’s food, but the service at this store is appalling. After these two experiences, I know I can keep my promise this time to never eat here again. If you want Zaxby’s, do yourself a favor and go to the store...
