I may have already left a review on here but I can’t remember. I feel the (unnecessary) need to direct some of the few negative reviews. This place is the BEST! Their food is absolutely delicious and their staff are above and beyond. Very quick service and great little atmosphere. Their portions are so huge that my husband and I split a single meal. My cousin drives up here from Orophino ID every other month or so just so we can come here and eat. We all absolutely loves how spicy the salsa is! They don’t play games here, their salsa is not for the faint of heart. I love mixing it up with sour cream and eating huge spicy globs of heaven on a nice fresh tortilla chip. I noticed some reviews complaining about the intensity of the salsa and giving lower stars just because of it; that’s not right. If you don’t like how spicy it is simply do not eat it, or add globs of sour cream to lesson the blow. Another thing I am not exactly happy with is people complaining of the prices. First of all, “expensive” is perspective. Personally I don’t find it the least bit expensive and would gladly pay more, because it’s super delicious food. If you’re looking for gross cheap Mexican food then that’s what Taco Bell is for, don’t come to a sit down restaurant with hard working staff and amazing food and complain that you actually had to pay for it. That’s cheap and low class. Second off, the portions are huge and could easily be split between two people. So yeah, that burrito may be $18 or whatever, but that’s $18 on food for TWO people, so it’s a pretty good deal to me. And even if it was $18 per person so what? It’s low class to go to a restaurant and complain of the prices, nobody made you eat there, if you can’t afford it then go somewhere else. Simple. This restaurant is awesome and the staff are friendlier than any other restaurant I’ve ever been in. Quite incredible actually. And to the people who “had something in there food” and gave a bad rating because they didn’t comp your meal, you’ve obviously never worked in the food service industry and you were most likely a jerk about the whole situation. Hard working waiters have to listen to customers yell at them and demand free food every single day. It’s the oldest trick in the book: say there’s something in your food and therefore you deserve for it to be free. If there’s something in your food then politely ask for a meal replacement, not FREE meals. I don’t understand these sort of people. If you truly had something gross in your food and you ate it anyways then you should still pay for that meal, because you obviously didn’t really care enough about the object to not eat the meal. Sorry I’m ranting here but most of the bad reviews are illegitimate. I’ve eaten here probably 10 or 15 times, maybe more, and never once have I had a problem with either the service or the food. Two more things I want to address here:
Great portion size if you want leftovers (we do, so that's a plus!). The food was pretty good, solid for this area, but I wouldn't drive across town again to eat there. We aren't opposed to driving forty minutes for great food and a good experience. This evening didn't qualify, but we don't regret giving it a try. Wife had a fajita burrito, which was good but had way too many onions. I had arroz con pollo, which is my standard "go to" for Mexican. No complaints, but not anything that would make it stand out, either. The restaurant has high volume traffic, but the food comes out surprisingly fast in spite of that. The waiter came out quickly, and delivered the food while it was still hot. That's great. However, he never checked in to see how the food tasted, and I'm not sure I ever saw him smile. He wasn't grumpy, but there was no attempt to connect with his customers...or even to show any interest. The decor is standard Mexican restaurant, though I thought it was odd to see a burlap sack labelled "marijuana" at the cash register (a product of Sinaloa according to the bag). Sure, it's legal here, but seems an odd choice to display in your family friendly restaurant. The music wasn't too different than most similar restaurants, but it was overloud. Conversation was a little more challenging than it should have been. Overall, it was fine. If I lived nearby I might go periodically, but I wouldn't make any...

I love my chili rellenos so my husband ordered me the one with 2 rellenos (I'd stepped outside as I didn't get cell reception inside)
What I got was rellenos with beef inside. I'd never had them this way before and didn't even know this way a way.
Although I still prefer my rellenos plain (without meat), if I'd never had them "my" way before this meal, I'd really love it "this" way.
I'm just a creature of habit when I find something I really like, I don't go looking to change it.
My meal was served on a monster sized platter and every inch filled. There's no skimping here.
My husband just had a burrito which filled him and my granddaughter ordered from the kids meal and was only able to eat half her plate (like I said, no skimping).
Although they display a monster sized Margareta glass they only serve them normal sized, (sorry folks).
The service got a response from my 10 year old grandchild as he walked away...
"I like him, he's real nice" (out of the mouths...
