Nestled in the heart of the Wallhaven neighborhood of West Akron, Nervous Dog has become our family's go-to spot for everything coffee and more. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the friendly smiles of the staff.
My wife and 4-year-old son absolutely love this place, and for good reason! He can get chocolate milk. For my wife and I, the coffee is consistently excellent, with a range of blends that cater to every taste preference. Whether you're in the mood for a rich espresso or a creamy latte, they deliver perfection every time.
And let's not forget the pastriesâthey're divine! My son's eyes light up whenever we mention stopping by for one of their apple fritters, cheese danishes, or bagels with cream cheese.
What sets them apart is their dedication to quality. Not only do they serve great coffee and pastries, but they also offer an array of merchandise and bulk coffee options for those who want to bring a piece of their experience home. It's a one-stop-shop for coffee enthusiasts!
The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or simply enjoying a quiet moment with a good book. The staff is always attentive and knowledgeable, making sure every visit is a pleasant one.
Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a welcoming spot to relax with loved ones, I can't recommend Nervous Dog in West Akron highly enough. It's more than just a coffee shopâit's a community hub where great coffee and warm hospitality come together...
Read moreWe visited this coffee bar at about 11am. We were immediately greeted with a good morning from all the baristas, and they were all super nice. We asked them about what was in a chai latte cause my mom didnât believe me when I said there was no coffee in it, and they were nice even though I knew it was a pretty dumb question. My momâs chai latte had skim milk and was delicious even to me who hates tea with a passion. The triple threat was absolutely perfect, thank god she remembered to ask me if I wanted it iced or not cause I nearly forgot. Itâs really sweet, but I love a good sweet latte. My momâs really enjoyed her Russian Tea Biscuit. It had dried fruit in it, and she loved it. The little shop was super crowded but they served us quickly. One of the baristas explained to us again about the chai latte when we got it because my mom was worried about how sugar it was. The coffee shop was super welcoming and nice. It was exactly the vibes you would expect from a...
Read moreThis branch is amazing. The Barista is an artist, and you wonât be disappointed when you get your coffee from this branch. I tried the one in Stow for several years, and tried different kinds of coffee, yet nothing seem to work for me. I hated the place, but I kept getting recommendations to go to Nervous Dog! I visited this place a couple of days ago, and Iâm surprised to see how good the coffee is. I got one of their Winter special drinks, and it was yummy. I complimented the Barista, and he told me to try something amazing that they do. Itâs called âBreve Milanoâ which is similar to a Cortado, but with their own twist. Itâs a double espresso, chocolate Milano, steamed half ânâ half & a little froth. I totally recommend trying this drink. You will be amazed. This wonât be the last time that I go back...
