Atmosphere is great, food is great, and customer service is top notch. First time there and will go back again. They really seem to get to know their regulars.

Update on 2nd visit since I said I'd come back. I opted for a booth so I could eat in this time instead of the bar. I got the same exact thing. The steak burro. This time the meat was super salty and dry..the plate was hot and the food like warm. The waitress was even colder than my food. Will I send my food back, no. I will leave this updated review and a small to nothing tip. Those that know me know my tip is based solely on the service, not the food. Very poor experience tonight and it isn't even busy. Will I be back? Mayhaps... just to see which review stands out the most.

I had to grab my own "to go" container which was convientally located at the waitress stand in my area. The couple in the booth in front of me laughed cause they had been ignored their visit too. I then had to flag down the waitress to ask for the bill. I am a hefty tipper. I suppose the waitress saw one guest and figured small tip. When I checked out the guy asked how everything was. He even offered to have the food fixed. I'd ate some, but not much so declined. I explained I'm leaving this review and zero tip for the waitress. She could have easily made more than my bill had she just been attentive. She wasn't even the one to bring my food on a hot plate with Luke warm food. She screwed herself on my bill. Oh well. The food was good but I had a pretty negative experience. We ordered margs and when I ordered mine she took a double take and said “non alcoholic?” And I said no, with alcohol. She hesitated but wrote it down. I am COVERED in tattoos and very obviously not underaged. She didn’t bother to ID us regardless. Then, when I ordered my food she didn’t understand what I wanted, and my friend had to repeat it to her. It still came out wrong, and even worse, it was a KIDS MEAL. I didn’t say anything, as I wasn’t too bothered by the actual food- however it was served with fries instead of rice. I don’t mind fries, but when I say these fries must have been dropped in the fryer no longer that 30 seconds. They were so severely undercooked I couldn’t eat them. When we got the bills we were charged way over what the price of alcohol was on the menu. This was on cinco too, so we not only didn’t get the special prices but more than the actual menu prices normally. I think she could tell I wasn’t happy with my meal but ignored me and spoke to my friends instead. She came back to our table four times in the span of like 3 minutes and kept asking if we needed boxes. We kept saying no. Finally the fourth or more time she asked she laughed and shuffled on her feet awkwardly then went “why don’t you want a box?”. She wouldn’t leave us alone at that point and it got very uncomfortable. Probably the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant. I felt very uncomfortable and...

Ok, the Monday night dollar tacos are delish... the service is attentive and fast... the chicken fajitas are out of this world! Frozen margaritas or classic, wow... delicious! (Though I can't have 'em anymore cuz of my blood sugar levels.) Birgin drinks are available.

One of the best places to eat ever... now... is the decor or seating the nest... no, it is aged and looks like it could use an upgrade...BUT... so what??? It is located in the former Akron institution called Yoconos... and some of their design choices are still apparent, and the building isn't the newest, but...

This isn't why you go to a restaurant is it?

For comfort food try the queso, for comfort with a kick try the queso relleno (spelling?) The Guacamole is FRESH and delicious and not overly jalapeno'd. YUM!!!!!!!

You can actually taste the avacado.and its delicious, even their salsa is clearly NOT from a bottle, can or other premade source. Its amazingly good stuff. My friends enjoy the shrimp tacos and the enchiladas... everyone I have taken there has enjoyed it and appreciate the care the kitchen takes with their labors...

Staff is friendly and mostly bilingual... and really , really awesome!
