Me, my wife, and two boys went on their “soft opening” before the big opening and it was really good! The waitress, Morgan, was really fun and attentive. There was a wait, and they had great outdoor seating for people waiting with Corn Hole that my kids and other families enjoyed. They also have a fire pit with Adirondack chairs all around it for the cold months coming up. For the food, we had their pretzel and beer cheese appetizer. It was great! We then ordered the wings, and bacon ranch cheese fries, which were also delicious. Morgan was even nice enough to offer us a sample of the hot sauces before we ordered so we could see which one we wanted. Safe to say we will be back and recommend this to all of our friends and family!

Decided to visit this place because I saw a huge billboard on I65, while on my way to Shelby County. Wait wasn’t long as I decided to sit at the bar. The restaurant is new and has lots of offerings. I chose the glazed pork chops which were of good portion size, seasoned fries which were some of the best I’ve had and onion straws which were delicious. My server at the bar, (guy with ponytail) was very attentive and answered all my questions. He also suggested menu items. I would definitely recommend this place.

Went to eat at Big Whiskey and ended up at Arby's. Yes I knew before going it was going to be slow for a new restaurant working out the workflow. But waiting almost 30 minutes from our first drink order and never checking back on us, I had to get up and tab out at the bar. I was looking forward to our food order, I hope someone else got to enjoy it. I'll give it a couple weeks before we go back

One of the worst restaurants I've been to in Alabama. The server JORDAN was inattentive, careless, and spent several minutes cuddling and touching her boyfriend at the table over from us while refusing to check on us or refill our waters. We waited 45 minutesfor our food. She brought out most of the orders made incorrectly and argued with me that I had switched plates on our table instead of acknowledging that the orders were served incorrectly. My nephew's order had to be remade twice. My daughter's burger was too blackened and burnt to be edible. Jordan eventually stopped speaking to me and stopped refilling our waters and another server, Nonna, took over our table (and Nonna is very good). Jordan also decided to make ugly faces at me and my party as the evening progressed, after she decided to no longer service our table. She never once apologized or acknowledged her mistakes. I spoke with the manager several times throughout the evening as the poor experience unfolded but he seemed annoyed and helped very little. I personally had such a horrible evening I feel that the entire meal should have been comped, but I only got 20% off. The food was in various stages of cold, soggy, or overdone; under or over seasoned; and presentation wasn't even a talking point. Par for the course for restaurants in Alabaster which is probably why most people give it rave reviews, but I will never return to this restaurant or any other...

Giving the food a one. Ordered 12 buffalo wings and loaded fries. Appetizers came out great. Drinks great. Off to a great start. All the food comes out but I'm missing the wings. No biggie waitress goes to the back to pick them up. No wings were there says " another waiter must have picked them up" ok no problem I've been in the business I know how it goes. She then says we will get you some new ones down and they will be out soon. OK awesome! Another 30 min go by then the waitress comes back and says "no one brought your wings out" no they didnt. The proceeds to ask well do you still want them? Yeah I do. Well the other 6 at the table are all finished so I get them boxed up to take home and they are soggy and Luke warm. Then brings the check full price no discount, nothing. I said "can yall help me out on the wings I didnt even get to eat with my family " yeah we can get that taken off for you. Ok cool. Then brings back the check they gave me half off on the 21 dollar wings that I didnt even get to eat at the restaurant. Was gonna talk to the floor manager "lady in a light blue shirt" but she was no where to be found. Well on the way out i see her in the back leaving work "she had a dollar general bag in her hand and a small backpack on smoking a cigarette with about 3 cooks sitting on the concrete. So no not a good experience at all. Would not recommend. Will update review if...

We've been waiting for Big Whiskey to finish their renovation, but in the end, it was a let down. My wife and I went on October 3rd, after the lunch rush. The wait time wasn't long. We were sat and a young lady took our order, which consisted of an appetizer, and two entrees. Food came out at a good time. The problem was that our entrees came out before the appetizer. Our food was taken back, where it was left to die, while it took another 15 minutes for us to get the appetizer. Within 2 minutes of getting our appetizer, our food was brought BACK to our table. They brought the same food that had been sitting under a heat lamp for over 15 minutes and gave it to us. To say this food was dead, would be an understatement. It was inedible. The pork-chop was a pork patty because there was no trace of fat and no taste of pork, definitely a Sysco product. I want them to succeed, but they need to get things together with the food, otherwise change the name back to O'Charley's. I can endure bad service with good food, because you can hire/train staff on how to perform. I can not endure good service with bad food, because that is a kitchen issue and most likely a corporate issue and to serve customers IQF (Individual quick frozen) pork patties is...
