This was the WORST experience I’d ever had at a McDonald’s in my entire life. I would never reccommend this McDonald’s to anyone, and I WILL NOT ever return. Firstly, the wait was HORRENDOUS. I understand they were busy because it was a Friday night and they are next to the college but that was not an excuse to sit in a drive thru for 43 minutes! I used to work at a corporate McDonalds until just earlier this year and even after Hurricane Irma we didn’t have people waiting that long! Not only did we have to wait an outrageous amount of time, the order taker in drive thru, did not get my order correct and the manger blamed me! I asked for a 10 piece nugget meal with a large fry, and large vanilla shake, another small fry and a mcchicken. For whatever reason she didn’t hear the mcchicken and when I asked the girl at the counter to put it in a separate bag they said I wasn’t charged for a mcchicken. I said no problem and went to hand her my card because to pay for it, and the manager named Stephanie had the nerve to come to the window and tell me “we’ll give it to you this one time but not again because you’ve caused us a major inconvenience” excuse me? Seriously? I’ve never felt so insulted in all of my life. It was an “inconvenience” to you that I asked again for what I wasn’t given in the first place due to your employee’s mistake? Wow, when I was at McDonald’s people got fired for making those kinds of comments. How can you as a manager tell a customer that they are an inconvenience? What kind of example are you setting for the rest of the crew? Don’t take a customer service job if you don’t understand how to administer decent customer service! And when I tried to talk to her about it, she walked away from the window and shut it on me! And THEN to make matters worse I parked and came inside, and another manager Rhodney, told me “he’s not allowed to give names” but HE WAS WEARING A NAME TAG AS HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE. How can you not give names but you are wearing a name tag? I feel like I was treated as though I have Stupid tattooed across my forehead. And lastly, the greatest insult of them all, when I asked for the name and number of the owner, I was given a fake number! As if the first insults were not enough! a Customer Service Representative I can say that this was THE ABSOLUTE WORST Customer Service I’ve ever experienced and I wouldn’t recommend this McDonald’s to ANY decent human beings. You all really need to learn to...
Read moreI had the worst experience with this chubby Anglo-Saxon manager named Mike last night. Last night I was waiting in drive thru for my order. I had ordered a fish filet with NO cheese PLAIN as I cannot handle dairy products due to me lactose intolerance. When I received my order I looked over it to make sure it was correct. I noticed that they gave me the fish filet with everything on it. I was trying to get their attention as the window was shut in my face after my order was handed to me. When I was able to get the attention of someone the manager Mike asked me what did I want with a nasty attitude. I told him about my order and he said do you have reciept and I said no I wasn’t given any. He looked really annoyed with me and told me to go pull forward . I said where did you want me to go and he said to 3rd windows obviously with a rude attitude like my presence was bothering him. I was hurt because I was just asking if he wanted me to park or go to the 3rd window. After that I waited about 10 minutes and he handed me my order. I proceeded to look into it and he said everything’s in the bag with an annoyed tone. So I just pulled off without looking as he made me feel very uncomfortable with his glare. When I bit into the sandwich I noticed that there was cheese in it and I immediately spit it out. I was so upset because I waited 20 minutes just for my sandwich and my dietary restrictions still weren’t respected. This is my 2nd time coming to this location and dealing with that manager and him having a nasty attitude. I don’t know what’s going on with him but he needs to be dealt with according. If your going to work in the retail industry learn to have compassion it’s one of the basics of it. It shouldn’t feel like I’m bothering someone just because I have dietary restrictions....
Read moreLet me preface this review by saying that writing a McDonalds review is the last thing I want to be doing, but the service here was appalling.
The first time I attended this McDonalds, I ordered at the kiosk to avoid dealing with the brain dead cashiers. As I complete my order and have to input the “table locator” number, I noticed that there were none of them next to the kiosk. So I had to input a random number and stand in the front to get my order. Staff lacks attention to detail.
I decided to come here a second time and give this location a second chance. This time, I went to the cashier to order because the kiosks were busy and I couldn’t see any “table locators”. I placed my order “BACON, egg and cheese biscuit” and I went to sit down. Shocker, the biscuit did NOT have bacon on it so I went to the front to send it back. The girl cashier made a rude remark regarding the tray “you can keep the tray” and proceeded to send it back. Then the manager is telling me about how the receipt said “egg and cheese biscuit” and I told him that is not what I ordered. Then the twerp who took my order implied I was lying because he said I ordered a “egg and cheese biscuit.” Twerp, I’m the one who employs who with my order.
The idea that the customer is always right is lost at this store and the rudeness of the staff can be attributed to the top, the manager, and the surrounding labor pool (UCF) with many lackadaisical students.
I will never be attending this location again and possibly writing a letter...
