I was VERY VERY UPSET and had bad experience with this restaurant. We got the menu and I wanted to call a combo. They had 4 combos but only 3 of them were listed with the price. The 4th one wasn't. I called the waitor and asked about the price for that combo, he just said it's $45 and didn't say anything else. (I don't remember exactly what included but can recall they have crawfish, shrimp, muscles (which is long later they said they don't have today and I was Ok when they said they will replace by one of the other stuffs) clams, corns, bread, and a crab. When I got the check, it was $87 tax included. I was surprised and called them to ask. They at that moment said the combo itself is $45 and with the crab it will be $80. I said I only order for the combo only and didn't hear anything about the crab or the cost of 80$. Then the waitress was trying to explain the the waiter was new and not trained well yet. She also was trying to say it was my fault too because I was not clear about that (Nobody explain clear about the price for me and the waiter was saying that the combo cost 45$ and that's it). We were arguing for a while and I ended up paying $87 for the meal I thought it would cost $45. About the food, I'll give 2.5 - 3 stars to be generous. it tastes frozen, was like they boiled the food first then heat it up with the sauce for a while then serve the customers. It was expensive I had to call many times and asked for every single salt, pepper, scissor,... I WILL NEVER COME BACK THIS...
Read moreSo I typically am not one to write bad reviews but this place was unacceptable and I don’t want people to have the same experience.
The food: we ordered 2lbs of shrimp one with cajun seasoning one with crazy seasoning a side of fries, and a salad.
Shrimp tasted very off complete rubber, impossible to peel and very fishy. Both me and my partner’s sauces were luke warm at best even though we were eating in and it was slow. the sauce was separated between oil and like solid chili paste not incorporated at all.
Fries: also luke warm and very minimally seasoned. Not great but remarkably the only semi edible item.
Salad: not well explained or described in the menu at all. Not exaggerating it was a salad mix with one slice of tomato cut in half no dressing. When asked for dressing an ultra sweet vinegar was brought. Which I can’t eat. I asked to send it back or have another dressing and the kid serving just offered soy sauce and fish sauce..
We ended up eating a total of 8 shrimp a few fries and one bite of salad. Went to the register saying the food was not edible to us and they offered no remedy just took our money and we left. No offering to maybe try something else or even take an item or two off nothing. So whatever we pay. Never coming back and I recommend you don’t go either.
The whole experience was a miss, should have just...
Read moreTo be totally honest, I believe the place has gone down hill. We were there for dinner, the place was practically deserted. Only two tables were occupied one on the Crawfish side, and one on the Pho side. We ordered the Cat fish and fries basket and a pound of shrimp. Which they forgot and didn't put on the order.
When I dine in a restaurant. I expect to use metal utensils, not plastic disposable utensils. I also expect condiments to be available at the table, such as salt, pepper, catsup, hot sauce, etc. Not a to go cup with about a tablespoon of catsup inside.
I was very disappointed with the over all experience. Nothing like my first visit that I enjoyed.
The other thing that got my attention was the children running through the restaurant. We got the impression that the children were relative's of either the owner or the staff, and not guests.
As far as having two different restaurants occupying literally the same space, it makes no sence to me! I think it's time they pick a flavor, and get serious about the business. As for me, I have no desire to...
