Jinmi Korean Restaurant — Restaurant in Alaska

This place was right across from where my mom and I stayed because it was close and got a very bad service with the girl serving us being rude when we asked questions like what are the sides to the meal? To her response she pointed with an attitude on the menu with it saying sides but on the money it said the meal comes with sides but not what are the sides. To which I had to reiterate that I’m asking what are the sides not if you have sides. Then my mom ask what type of water do you have she then said she has bottled water in a snarky attitude. I had to then proceed to ask is it purified or spring water. When we were still eating the server came to the table standing there waiting for us to pay while we’re still eating. We said we’re still eating and she leaves. Then when we’re done she sends the older rude server came and said that’s not how it happened when I complained about the service we received. The older lady says after we pay under her breath that it’s not a big deal. If you want quality service at a restaurant you’re paying your hard earned money at don’t come here. They don’t care to be polite or pleasant to their customers. I would give zero stars if this...

This place deserves 0 stars. We were new to Anchorage and we're looking for a place to eat. We stopped at this so called establishment and were looking at the menu when our daughter needed to use the restroom. We had questions about the menu and was unsure of the food so we decided to leave. The women who was answering our questions was extremely rude and said "If you all just wanted to use the restroom, you should have asked." As we were trying to explain that was not the intent, she became angrier. We went to another resturant in the same building complex and she followed us there. I would not recommend this place to anyone no matter how others say the food taste. When your worker or owner has a stinky attitude, I am 1000% sure that the food is horrible. Yuck!!!!!!!

We love traveling the world's diverse food options. Our standards are high. We love walking into a Korean restaurant and hearing Korean being spoken, seeing diverse menus options, and feeling like we have walked into Korea. As far as the atmosphere goes, I feel like they could liven up the restaurant and showcase more Korean culture through decor. The bathrooms especially could be a focus point. Service was good. We were greeted in Korean upon entry! The server was polite and prompt. The food is the real reason we go into any place. I loved that they had a great variety of options. They had beef interesting stew and a few other options that are unusual for Americans. For Alaska we thought they did a great job of a home Korean cooked meal. Compared to the absolute best we've had in our lives, this was a solid 4/5. Highly recommend...
