We went here to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. We had heard that they has good steaks and it aas a nice evening so we thought we would sit out side on the patio overlooking Lake Hood. We were not informed that the menu for outside was much more casual. If you wanted a steak or something other than your basic burger you needed to be seated inside. We tipped our server 5 dollars for the inconvenience and went inside. The service was pretty quick. We ordered the calamari app and the ribeye steaks mes rare. The calamari was tasteless by itself and very rubbery. The dipping sauce made it taste better but it was still impossible to chew. So sad. Our steaks were dropped off at our table by a random server who quickly departed. Upon cutting into our steaks they were bordering on well done. My husband's was slightly less done but still a far cry from mid rare. By the time we got someone's attentiin(ojr waiter never checked in with us) my husband had eaten half of his steak. I was finally able to retyrn mune and was assured that the replacement would be "right out." My husband had been dinished with his meal for a good 10 minutes before I received mine. It was cooked correctly but lacked any flavor and tenderness that you would expect. The company was exceptional so not a total loss of an evening. I have had this place cancel 3 orders in a row from Grubhub. First the driver called to say they were only open for breakfast (but dont open on GH until 615pm). The next time was because the driver"s card wouldnt work, but apparently they WERE open and delivering (this was yesterday). I wasnt hungry anymore by then so I preordered for today. Waited in anticipation of a great meal for 22 hours only to be called by Grubhub 10 minutes after my food was due to arrive and told my order was canceled because they arent open.

Tried to call the first time, next morning to catch them during breakfast and find out the situation. No answer. Tried to call today after the 3rd cancellation, 3 times. NO ANSWER. Even tried to call the Millennium Hotel to get ANY information. No answe .

Website states open until 10 today yet I cant get anyone on the phone.

Look. It's fine if you dont want to join the delivery movement, but for GOD'S SAKE take your listing off of Grubhub if that's the case. If you ARE open, maybe get it together already. Doesnt matter how great your menu is if you arent willing to feed people or answer your phone.

Bottom line up front, under staffed, slow, poor food, and not a good value for the price of you are looking for breakfast. Only nice thing I can say about it for breakfast is that it has a nice view. It went downhill from the moment we sat down. 10 minutes sitting at the table before we could order drinks. At 9 AM on a Saturday (a peak morning for a hotel) they were already out of diet soda. Ordered the Captain's Plate with French Toast, choice of meat, 2 eggs, and fruit cup. For $17, it came out with 2 eggs, a really small fruit cup, a single slice of French toast (seriously, how much does a slice of bread dipped in egg cost that one would think a single slice is all that one needs), and bacon strips that were so over cooked that they crumbled like dust when you picked them up. We asked for new bacon and what came out was not completely burned, but was basically greasy jerky and still not good bacon. As for service, staff seemed annoyed when asked for anything.
