20 years ago, this was the best quality American Chinese food in town. Decent prices, large portions of quality food. Fast forward, and I was in the mood for Chinese and thought of Panda for delivery. Ordered two things - Short Rib / Teriyaki Chicken dinner and house fried rice. The Short Rib / Teriyaki Chicken dinner consisted of a tiny slice of chicken thigh, sliced into 7-8 small slivers and 6 really skinny slices of short rib over a huge pile of cabbage and rice. The tiny amount of meat tasted good but it was really small, like rip-off small. Literally 95% cabbage /rice and 5% meat. Not even close to the $15.95 charge. The house fried rice? I almost thought it was egg foo yung. It consisted of a large slice of scrambled egg over a few pieces of shrimp, Mongolian beef, and some spoiled tasting portions of chicken over some overly greasy rice with some broccoli and mushrooms. It tasted off and was difficult to eat. I expect house fried rice to be chopped into bite sized portions of fresh ingredients, not chunks of lunch leftovers presented as an entree. Horrible. Avoid this place. Note - the photos were post eating. The cabbage and rice gives the scale of what was left after the meager (understatement) chicken and rib meat were eaten. The fried rice gives an idea of the presentation. It was completely covered with a large portion of scrambled egg that I attempted to mix in. The egg was good, but the rest of the ingredients were not fresh, overly greasy and not good.

The best Chinese food restaurant in Anchorage! There are many Chinese food restaurants, but this one has been around for a long time. That means the owner and staff know what they're doing. If you have dinner in the restaurant then I suggest having a Tsingtao beer with your meal. If you have a choice, go spicy because it's not too spicy; there are only 3-5 small red peppers to add flavor. If you order online, which is very easy then you should expect 30-45 minutes provided there is no road maintenance to slow the delivery driver. Every time I visit the staff is very polite. If I could request one thing it would be that a dessert is added to the menu. Having a birthday party here is boring because there is no dessert. The food was not that bad but their service is the worst service I’ve ever had. I came into Panda restaurant with my husband to order food from Chef’s dinners list. But the lady who works there made us so confused, saying that I need to order two numbers of food from the menu to put them in one plate for one person only. It was not written in the menu. Moreover, because her explanation was too confusing for us who hungry already, she brought a plate from their kitchen to make us understand. My husband was not patient enough for the lady’s bad attitude and he canceled to order because kesabarannya setipis tissue. She only gave one little plate for us in the beginning before I asked her to gave me another plate. She pissed him off.

Took my Boyfriends father to dinner, and had an outright disappointing experience. The waiting staff was disrespectful from the start, was ver short with her statements, and rushed us all along so fast. She then took our plates for our appetizer before we’d finished it. After we got our food she returned twice, mumbling comments not in English both times. Once we had finished our meal, she wanted QUICKLY for us to give her the card for payment, She then demanded to have the receipt signed quickly, but stormed off before it was signed. When she returned, she demanded her pen back, and demanded we put in a tip, where we had clearly crossed a line through, showing she had not earned a tip. But she shoved the receipt in our face, and stormed off. We wrote down a dollar, but in all honestly she robbed us for a tip. Never coming back. She would’ve been tipped nicely had she not been a C*. I’m a great topper to a server that even shows a little effort, but she down right disrespected us all. Did I mention every dish was filthy. It’s not that hard to serve with a bit of...

Thought I could take my dad out to his "favorite restaurant" for his Birthday dinner but was not only harrased for taking a long time to eat our combination appetizer but the soup spoons and the appitizer plates both had caked on DIRTY food. Before we could finish our appetizer our plates were taken with food still on them, and the same goes with our soups. We then were served our entrees which where very good! Sadly, we were continuously told we were eating slow. After all of this I decided to not leave a tip because the service was very poor. The 1 lady who serves food, looked at it,laughed, and then proceed to set it in front of my dad and demanded a tip. So I grabbed it so that he wouldnt see what was happening. So I gave her a tip, she looked at it again, laughed, walked away, and proceeded to talk to her coworker in their native language and laugh. Food was pretty good but I am never coming back to this place. Thank you for being disrespectful and had my dad asking questions about what just happened. Horrible service, never ever consider...
