Honestly this was probably one of the worst places I've stayed in in a long time. We were driving back from Homer and couldn't find a place anywhere this was the one that said they had opening and this was at 1:30 in the morning we booked the room and my God it's a good thing it was semi-dark when we went in. Really disappointed with the room had a funny smell the drain wouldn't empty in the bathroom no trash Liners in the trash cans. But they did have a bed and we were able to find it go to sleep and get out early in the morning. So I will say yes they had a bed clean sheets clean blanket

I enjoyed my room very much. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, detergent, etc. The bed was comfortable and I loved the fireplace in my room. Downside was that they were in middle of renovations and elevators were sometimes not available. Had to complain to front desk about it twice. First floor was a little messy. The meet and greet was nice. Free food and drinks. Just appetizers now. Not a full meal, lol. Will return again. Close to Moose's Tooth and the shuttle took us over there and Fred Meyers. Jewel was wonderful. 4 stars because of renovations. If not for that it would be 5.

Kinda surprised this was a Marriott location, which is what we thought we were paying for at that price. The room was not the cleanest upon arrival, with hairs on the towels and in the toilet— also the shower had visible mold. The woman at the front desk was really nice and a provided an easy check in especially since we arrived so late so we were thankful for that.

I had stayed for a little over 9 nights here. There are some good and bad things. There is a Market, Gym, and a heated indoor Swimming Pool/Whirlpool Spa available to guests.

Breakfast is from 6:30AM to 9:00AM on weekdays and 7:00AM to 9:30AM weekends. The breakfast is taken place in the lobby. The pool area is open daily from 5:00AM to 11:00PM (located right in front of the front desk). The fitness center is open 24 hours, located next to the pool. You would need a key for all rooms mentioned above.

The front desk market is open 24 hours. Bottle sodas, candies, a small assortment of canned food and cup noodles can be found at the market. It would also have with small tylenols, eye contact solution, lactaid, laundry products and a ATM.

There is free internet. Local and Directory (411) calls start at 75 cents. However 800 calls are at no charge.

There are thermostats in the rooms. The laundry rooms are located on the second floor right in front of the elevators. In there, it costs $4.00 for both machines. There is a coin machine located in the laundry rooms that take $1.00 or $5.00 bills. For this hotel, you will need to pay your full stay before you can get a key or keys. There is a large refrigerator, mainly lower refrigerator and a small freezer on top. This is a two door vertical refrigerator. There will be a manual ice tray in the freezer along with the bucket that the ice cubes you can make in the freezer. There is also a glass stovetop by the refrigerator with one large burner and a small in the back. There are bowls, pans, cutlery, cups, can openers and a colander in the cup boards. There is also a small sink, and a dishwasher available. In the closets, there is an ironing board and some hangers to use. In our suites rooms, there are tvs, closets, one dresser, two bedside tables. On the bedside tables, there are two plugs and two USB connectors to use, an alarm clock, and a telephone. There was a walk in shower in one room and a tub in the other. 16oz bottles of Shampoo, Condition, Hand/Body Soap are located in the showers to use. A small shower mat can be found in the tubs rolled for your use. A hairdryer can be found in the bathrooms also. There are plenty of outlets to use around the hotel. There is also a desk near the window, a dining table with four tall chairs with low backs for dinners. The windows are quite large and has four curtains (one thick curtain and a sheer curtain on top) and a mesh bug screen. The windows are roll ups and lockable.

The Cons. The shower head is a regular shower head. It is not removable/extendable. This may be different for mobility rooms. I had stayed in a double room suite. There are no heated/cooling fans in the rooms for elders. The rooms are cold at night and hot during the day. There is a thermostat. However we had elders so it was always on 80°F but the room would get cold at night even if we hadn’t changed the thermostat. I had found a live worm in my bedside dresser located by the religious books. The hallways are long and confusing. If you would like delivered food, I would request to deliver to the front desk unless your room happens to be easy to find. There had been a leak in the laundry room and I had dropped my cleaned sock onto the puddle near Elevator 2. For my bank, Wells Fargo, your money will be on hold until your stay is over. For example: If my stay had been $700, this will stay in my account until the end of the stay. If you had $800 and you had spent the $700 saved for your hotel that you had forgot, you wouldn’t have money to pay for the hotel at the end of the stay. That would be a big problem. They do take your money first, but it doesn’t actually leave your account until the end of the stay. You would also need the full amount available in your account so you can be allowed your room. This hadn’t happened but I had noticed that my cash hadn’t left my account this whole time. Please make sure you save the amount. That is...

After the management took time to sit down and talk with my husband and I, I'm totally confident that our first encounter was just a one off incident. Everyone here has been so nice and super attentive other than a little scuffle at the start and a little kid in the pool area almost tossing my phone in for a dive.

The girl who checked us in was like a front desk wizard, and since we keep very unorthodox hours, I only need to take the sign off the door when we need towels and such. Since we called the front desk after the first time, we've had neat and clean towels and sheets and so forth ever since then. Housekeeping is so pro they even avoid the death trap of art supplies and clothes we had since the contents of the car exploded into the room (in all fairness it's been a long move)

I'm completely sure that the state of the hall and hotel when we arrived was just because it had been late, because since then (except late at night and even then there are cleaning ninjas tidying the halls it seems) I've not seen it look the same.

The only area I'm not a fan of is the laundry area, but that can hardly be helped. Washers and dryers just don't make for impressive home decor. At least they have them, and they are fairly priced!

The location is a win lose because it's tucked behind a medical complex, and a big BP building, but oddly appealing to a degree, and once you figure out where it is, it's a breeze to get anywhere you'd need to go.

Also, I noticed my photo uploads were not the right photos, but that's probably a case of operator error + new phone. I'll have to figure it out later and get the right ones posted.

I really appreciate the staff here for showing that they not only care about their customers, but they care about everyone (including pets, the puppies love them!) On the property, and they came from a place of sincere concern and understanding for how people really communicate and interpret things individually instead of a place where they wanted to either save face or pay a customer off. Seriously, how rare is that quality of human being these days.

Anyway, I'm glad we stayed here, and if we ever need a hotel in Anchorage into he future, I certainly hope we...

When we arrived in the room it was very hot. We opened the windows but it wasn't helping. We also could not get the TV's to turn on. So we called the front desk to ask for help. We were told someone would be right up to help. We waited for over an hour. We called again and someone brought us a fan, we had to ask that person to help with the TV's. He got one to turn on and said he would be back with a new cable for the other. He never returned. Later I went to wash my hands in the kitchen and then noticed that the counters had food and dirty hand prints. I took photos so we could show the staff at the front desk. When we showed the photos to the staff, they were talking back and forth to each other more than us. We asked several times what could be done. They handed us a set of wipes and let us know that the hotel was full and we would have to wipe things down ourselves because the housekeeping had left already. We were offered a discount on the first night of our stay, but were not told what it would be or if anyone would come to clean the room. Because we were not feeling like the response from the desk staff was clear, we called Marriott customer service. He filed a claim and said that a manager would contact us the following morning. We stayed around in the room for awhile the following day and never had anyone stop by. When we had to leave for our plans outside of the hotel we hoped someone would leave a note if they did come by. Nothing was received. We have four photos that show how unclean the room was. We stayed because we weren't sure if we would even get a discount or refund. We cleaned the room and did the best we could to enjoy our time. Based on this stay we will not be returning to this hotel. Over the years we have stayed several times, but we feel like the quality has diminished. We understand that Covid has made staffing and cleaning more difficult, however for how dirty the counters were it doesn't seem like they were even attempted to be cleaned. As of writing this review we have not seen a discount or a refund applied to our credit card. We are disappointed with the communication and lack of...
