Pizza Plaza — Restaurant in Alaska

The food is mediocre. It's not the worst. But that is not why they get 1 star from me.

They robbed me, for almost nothing. The short female server with the short-ish haircut stole 2$ from me. I called in a pickup order. I came in when they said it would be ready. It wasn't ready. It was about 20 minutes late. When it was ready and sitting on the counter the lady saw it and tended to her tables and collected her tips before cashing me out. It was a little rude of her but everyone has a bad day. When she did get around to cashing me out she printed the receipt and handed it to me and said "Can you 'fill' this out and sign it?" I thought she was barking mad expecting a tip on not only a carry-out but a very late one at that. So I drew a line through the section with the tip and signed it. I didn't think I had to write more than that since I had my copy. Well the wife got the bank statement and she wrote in a 2$ tip for herself. We thought about calling the bank, but if they are willing to rob a local for 2$ then they will never get my business again. I'll save myself 2$ and eat...

Was very disappointed. Ordered the chicken Caesar salad. When the salad was brought out to me, it was not a Caesar salad, it had salami and tomatoes and sliced American cheese. There were no crutons or even parm cheese. The only thing Caesar that was brought out was the dressing. When I pointed this out to the waitress. I was told that it was, in fact, a Caesar salad, and I should pay better attention to the menu. I said fine. Could you please bring me some crutons at least? She did bring me a large bowl of croutons. Then, about 10 minutes later as I'm just starting over the salad after I picked all the c* out of it that I didn't want. She came to me and said. Since it seemed like you were going to be a problem. I spoke to the chef, and he said In fact, he made you a chicken salad, not a chicken Caesar salad. Then she walked off with no offer to make it right. I will never be eating there again. This was my birthday...

I just can't with Pizza Plaza anymore. Last two times we ordered they forgot stuff and never brought it, even when I called the next day and they said they would bring the item at no charge, the driver never came. Asked to talk to owner, gave them my info and of course, she never called. Tonight, once again, half the order missing. Called to check on the order and the waitress said that business slowed down and the order was out. We had to wait an hour and a half longer for the order they messed up. That is a full 3 hours. I originally placed the order at 6:05. Order came at 7:20 with missing items and the rest of the order came at 9:04. We used to like Pizza Plaza and ordered there a lot. Their service has gone downhill big time and we will no longer be ordering from here. If you think their food is worth it, I suggest dining in because their delivery service is the worst. Never again Pizza...
