Long review:

My bf and I went around 11:30ish 12/27, and was told it was take-out only. I ordered the country breakfast (cheese grits, scrambled eggs, bacon) and a side of hash browns…he, a double patty melt with mushrooms. While sitting there waiting, we noticed that the cook was really clumsy. Strange. He kept dropping things and tried flipping the eggs in the pan by throwing them in the air, which led to eggs landing all over the grills. Random. Then he slapped so much butter on my bf’s Texas toast before putting the cheese on and slapping it on the grill. After spending $37 and some change, we left. I held the top of the bag on the ride home, and when we finally got there, my hand and arm was covered in melted butter. When we opened our food, my bf took a bite and spit his food out. It tasted like butter and the bread was soggy. My grits tasted like butter too. The only thing I ate were the hash browns and bacon. He ate his fries and put some wheat bread on his patty melt to see if that’d help. Nope. I called and no one answered, so I rode back by and they were closed well before 2am (Google said they close at 2). I called this morning spoke with Kyle and he said to bring the food back in. Did. He said they put a generous amount of butter on bread there. I know what a generous amount is, and that was too much. Only for him to tell me that he called corporate and they couldn’t refund my money because the transaction already went through. So now I’m out of $37 and barely ate any of the food we ordered. My husband and I went to have breakfast and we were so disappointed. We ordered our food and our sweet tea. The tea was not good. Waitress brought our food and silverware. My knife had food all over it so I gave it back to the waitress. She asked was there anything else we needed. We said no. Within 2 minutes she came and asked us again. When I say she came back and asked us 3 more times, she did. Although I appreciate the waitress making sure we were good, the excessive asking was aggravating. I dropped a napkin on the floor and as I went to pick it up I noticed how the floor was so disgusting. You can tell it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Now let’s get to the food. My husband ordered a southwestern omelette with hash browns and a biscuit. I ordered bacon, eggs, and cheese grits. My husbands omelette that had sat on the counter for 5 minutes before the rest of our food was cooked was now almost cold. My bacon was so greasy and my grits weren’t even hot enough to melt the cheese. Needless to say we will not...

This location hardly opens on time. At 7 on most mornings Jessica has the door locked and browsing through her phone. I tap on the door and she shakes her head no. Some mornings there is no one in sight. My last visit, Jessica had a bad attitude as if she didn’t want to be to work. The cook appeared to be hurt because he was limping. Jessica wasn’t assisting him. She kept saying to the cook, “You have to do that yourself.” She tried to give me cold boiled eggs with my meal. I ordered hamburger steak and gravy with grits.
