Every time I go to this location its always something but I believe today topped it off. The cashier takes my order and then to disappointment and let me know that the internet is down. Then so therefore I’m not able to use my points. I know how the system works so all she had to do was look at my phone cause there is a app to where it displays whether or not you have a 5 buck rewards I didn’t plan on spending any money so I wanted to use my points. Keep in my my ice cream is already fix as well. Then I ask to speak to the manager mrs Mary Lou comes to the window as usaually being rude talking bout the system is down and that she ain’t got no control over it and stuff so I ask to speak to Tammy who is the manager she knows I’m a regular as well as Mary Lou but just always insist on giving me a hard time. Tells me to hold on before she even calls Tammy I told her that I could just give her my number so she can get the 5 dollar rewards and just when the system comes up to just take it then. Then I ask her why every time I come you always giving me a hard time she say no you’re always giving me a hard time. I say you know what just give me my ice cream she gets ready to give it to me without the lids I say can I get lids on them please she say well I’m not the one who took your order I know that I just ASKED can I get lids. Then I say the ice cream haven’t melted did it she said well all of our ice cream is soft I say well don’t you think you should let the customers know that the internet is down and then that ice cream is soft. Read moreBrusters.... Honestly if I could rank it lower I would. My wife and I go to Brusters at least once a week(sometimes more). I have seriously had an issue with this Brusters. They are always wrapped around the building and we end up spending 35 plus minutes waiting to get our ice cream. When we finally get up to the teller and try to order 90% of the time they are out of blast mix. If they are out once in a while I would understand but over the last several weeks we would go multiple times as week because I love Brusters but this location never seem to have blast mix. If you aren’t going to have the supplies you need then at least state it somehow before I sit in line for 30 mins to an hour before I can find out!! My wife has had trouble with them even carrying the normal flavors. I understand they are busier now than normally but they should also be ordering more supplies for summer months. I have also had problems with them charging for dog treats when I don’t have the dogs with me like do you really think I’m going to eat the dog bone. Also charging a dollar for a teaspoon of ice cream for the dog treats is ridiculous since most Brusters give these a way under any circumstances. This is by far the worst Brusters location I have been too! Although I love Brusters I would highly recommend you find another location in Albany area to buy...
Read moreI don’t know if it is because it’s the summer months but every time I come to Bruster’s my ice cream is ALWAYS runny! I am talking about consistency of juice runny.. I’ve never had a milkshake that was made that way, and the workers on the shift on 08/09/2021 at 5:11pm did not care! I requested my shake be remade because the milk shakes weren’t thick as they should be, and she attempted to blame it on the lack of the flavor I ordered.. which was fine, so I requested two new flavors because if the lack of ice was the reason my milkshakes were thin changing the flavor should fix it right? WRONG. Not only were the new milkshakes runny, but they were given to me in cups that were a complete mess as the cups were covered in ice cream. I won’t be coming back here again!
