Shouldn’t be passing health inspections. Served primarily rotten lettuce on both menu items. There seems some be some deep endemic problem with the management of this location. I used to work nearby and haven’t been in about a year or so, and didn’t have unusual expectations for a Sunday night. I didn’t expect the food to be stale, I arrived at 8:30 and their website says they close at 11:00, so a good 90 minutes before close, but all the grills were off, and of the two staff members on shift one was sweeping the entire duration of my stay. The few customers there were relaxed and understanding. There were several food outages, including white rice, and fajitas, and most of the meat looked completely desiccated, like dog food. The remains of the fajita looked like it was cooked 6-7 hours ago, and the worker confirmed they were spoiled. I’ve never seen anything like it. I should have left, but I was tired and hungry and wanted to believe it wouldn’t be problematic. My food was served room temperature, to straight cold. It makes we wonder if there’s a cheaper tortilla product they’re using, or if the tortilla press was off? Brought the food home, and I was grateful I had tacos as I could see the rotten lettuce right away. My boyfriend, who compulsively contradicts me on principal, couldn’t ignore the rotten shredded lettuce across his bowl. It’s obvious that no fresh food was prepared there for hours and hours, there was no rush, and rather than blaming the workers I squarely blame management. This was a horrifying experience, I’m challenging the charge on the principal of being served rancid food, I’m frightened for the people in front of and behind me who ordered burritos with hidden rancid lettuce. I’m reporting this to the health department, hopefully that will encourage better oversight. The franchise owner should be ashamed.

It’s absolutely unacceptable that the only people who can get food from this new Chipotle are “online orders.” I get that this is a “brand new” fast food joint in Albany, but this tactic is certainly spitting in the face of many potential customers. Online ordering is great, but what about the rest of us who want to order and pick up our food in person?? Why are we being punished? I imagine once the “newness” has faded, the “rush” of online orders cease, there will still be many potential customers upset and will gladly spend their money elsewhere. I just don’t understand why “online orders” 100% trump those of us who are willing to physically show up, stand in line and bring our food home. Pathetic

Never again. Tonight I went in and ordered a chicken bowl at the Albany Oregon chipotle and it was disgusting. I have never left a review but this was just pretty bad. I got my order to go. It cost $20, and it’s the worst $20 I’ve ever spent my life. I also looked it up on the website before I came in and it only came out to be like $15 so I’m not sure why it cost so much more in store. Anyways the guacamole, was freezing cold and the beans were hard.. I thought it was supposed to be like QDOBA but they just have the same atmosphere and menu items but the food actually tastes like what it’s supposed to… :/

I want to share my experience with the interview process because I felt like I wasn’t taken seriously and was treated poorly. After applying on the website, I was scheduled for an interview. When I arrived, the store was unprepared, and I was told the hiring manager wasn’t there that day and that I needed to call to reschedule. They only took a paper copy of my resume.

The next day, after calling the store, I was rescheduled for another interview. During this second interview, the interviewer mentioned she was trying to convince an employee to practice interviewing on me, which made me feel undervalued and like I was not a genuine candidate. She also said that other interviews were happening that Saturday, but she wouldn’t be conducting those, raising concerns about how the process was organized and how multiple interviewers might be coordinated without conflicts of interest.

I have worked at Chipotle before and had a great experience. I also had an open schedule, so I was confident going into the interview. However, the interviewer didn’t take any notes and never followed up with me afterward. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and disrespectful, and I did not feel like a serious candidate during the process.

For future reference, I recommend applicants make sure to speak directly with the hiring manager to avoid confusion and ensure a professional...

By now you know what to expect from chiplote, but this location was great. When I walked in first the place was CLEAN I've been to a few places where table tops are always covered in food that was not the case here. They did inform everyone that their processing systems were down so they were only accepting cash as a payment. That's fine things don't always work the way we hoped. I asked if I could submit an online order and they said yes. I opened up Google typed in chiplote went to their website and submitted my order. Quick, easy, and no problem. A couple of minutes later I am approached by an employee asking what the name of the order was and I told her. She came back and informed me that they have not yet received the online order. Turns out I had submitted the order at the hillboro location not the albany location would have been more 1+ hour drive. The i was given number for customer service to ask for a refund. And the store manager was kind enough to comp me my meal. Not expected, but absolutely appreciated. Between the customer service and the cleanliness of the store I will be returning. Thank you very much...
