Belk — Local services in Albany

Had a wonderful visit at Belk today and I owe it all to one of the kindest, sweetest and most customer friendly lady's I have ever had the greatest pleasure of meeting and working with to help find exactly what it was that I needed. Ms. Willie Mae was the star which brightened what was a very gloomy day up until I heard her say in a calm and soothing voice, "Welcome to Belk sir and How may I help you today"? That was all it took to change the course of my day. And even though Ms. Willie Mae was wearing a mask I could see her bright shining smile underneath it coming through. She was a pure delight to have helping me find the pants and shorts I needed in my size. She assisted me with reopening my Belk charge account. I even saved a little bit of money by doing so, how about that! Ms. Willie Mae is the "Gem" that brightens the entire Belk store in the Albany Mall. An employee that Belk should be very proud to have. I can't remember the name of the young lady who assisted me at the Men's cologne area but, she was extremely nice, very sweet and very patient with me as I test sprayed several different colognes and ended up not buying anything. Overall my daor visit at Belk was Outstanding! Keep up the awesome...

Whoever is Managing this store in Albany, Georgia should be fired. I was there on Tuesday afternoon and when I tried to find someone to take my money for my purchases I found no more than 5 clerks in a store with probably more than 10,000 feet of space. I finally ended u p in the jewelry department to pay for some bras and a couple of shirts. Two of the clerks in the store were found in the bedding department and both were in a dispute that went on and on and on with 2 customers over returns.

I went to the table linens section to find that all the table linens were thrown willy nilly on 2 shelves like they were about to be discarded. It was impossible to look at what was on those shelves because they were so cluttered.

Other customers were wandering around just like me looking for help.

Apparently this store Manager is short sighted enough to believe that she/he is saving money for Belks by not having clerks available in each department. Common sense would tell anyone that what is happening at this store is about running customers away to places where they can find help and pay for purchases.

Shame on Belks for allowing...

I hate shopping!! I hate going to a mall!! I was looking to purchase a Powerboost Deep Tissue Massager. After searching the internet and checking prices it popped up it was sold locally at belks. Their normal price $329.99 it was advertised for less than $90.00. I drove 25 miles and entered their store. I was lucky when I entered they had an information booth. The young black man providing information was approached. I stating I was looking for the Powerboost Deep Tissue Massager. He stated walk straight forward to the other entrance and the display is in front of the cosmetic counter. I thanked him and followed his instructions. Exactly where he told me! I picked it up and the lady at the cosmetic counter ask if I need assistance said no ma'am I've found it. She said I can ring you up here. Total purchase price $89.10. I thanked her and processed out of the store. I thanked the young black man for perfect information and left. Total time in & out of Belk 6 minutes. This was...
