Update 1/28/2022: Went to give them another try tonight. Ordered 2 sandwiches with the toppings on the side. I also told the girl at the window about the toppings being in the side. The sandwiches boxes had a label the said "TOPPINGS ONTHE SIDE". Anyone want to take a guess where they put the toppings??? Yep...on the sandwiches. 👎👎
Update 8/27/2021: Went through the drive thru. They still refuse to cook your food longer; the order taker said, "that is is just the way it is". At the window and in the line, they were giving orders to the wrong people. I got my drinks, but the rest of my order was given to someone else. I had to wait at the window for about 10 minutes for them to remake the order. We were still missing an item that we ordered one they have us our food. If you go to any other Chick-fil-A, you get A+ service where your order is accurate, food is fresh, and, you get it fast. The Albemarle location just cannot live up to that standard.
Update 4/8/2020: Decided to give them another chance. I did not receive the amount of sauces I ask the order taker at the drive thru for. When I got to the window and checked my bag, I asked for the rest of the sauces. The lady said that I could only get the 3 that was in the bag. Now, I have never had an issue at any Chickfila before with getting the requested amount of sauces. When I asked the lady when they began to limit the number of sauces, she replied that it has always been that way. I told her that I had never had an issue before and also mentioned that the order taker did not say there was a limit. I do not see how this location gets away with being called a Chickfila. The "My pleasure" and good customer service is lacking at this location now. Very sad.
Update 2/27/2020: They now refuse to cook your food longer if you request it. They used to do it. Not sure why the change. I hope they reverse this decision. According to the online customer support, the local store manager can make these decisions. Also, Chick-fil-A has long had a reputation of providing accurate orders. I have had several occasions at this location where I did not receive the number of sauces I requested.
Even though there was a very long drive thru line (cars were lined up out in the road waiting to turn in) and very long line inside (people lined up to the door), Chick-fil-a served everyone quickly. They were well staffed. They had a ton of employees taking care of the front line for drive thru and the front counter. Multiple cashiers were taking inside orders. They were handing out paper menus to those in line so people could find what they wanted before they reached the counter to place their order. They had multiple employees outside to take drive thru orders and take payment veggie before people even reached the window. At the window, there was an employee getting customers' food from the window and taking it to the cars in line. This was only day 2 of them opening! They had to have had at least 30 employees on the clock. Very impressed! Was able to order quickly and received exactly what I ordered. Read moreUsually the servers are helpful and courteous. Tonight we ordered our supper, and our order was brought to our table short one entree. So I took my receipt back to the register and asked for our second entree. The first server looked at my receipt then handed it to another person. The second person looked at the receipt and said very emphatically that she knew she had sent that order out correctly because she had packed it herself. I was standing there and over heard her comments. Basically calling me a liar. So I very nicely said that she was welcome to come to our table to check, but we only received one salad and we paid for two. I explained which salad we had gotten and which kind we had not gotten. Again she continues to say that she had included that salad. I then said she should come check since we were sitting in the dining room! Finally she turned and asked for the salad that we had not gotten to be made. When they brought it out to us, it was the same kind of salad that we had, which was the wrong order, but at least we got the second salad. She came out later and I mentioned to her that we had gotten the wrong order after all , and she tried to argue with me that the Cobb salad had the ingredients that the southwest salad had....it does have a few of the same but not all of the same. Read moreUPDATE 10 AUGUST 2024 This location is good. The food is awesome, and the lines inside and outside move quickly. The dining room seating is not ideal but serviceable. I like the chicken fil a wrap. Mac and cheese is good too. The tea is always great. UPDATE 20 July 2022: CHICK-FIL-A Has improved. The dining room is open again. The food is good and fresh - on par with other locations.. The friendliness is back.. I haven't had any issues since they re opened. What has happened to this location??Julyb2021 - COVID fallout? The chicken sandwich bun is wet likely because its been sealed in the the carry out pouch waiting on the long lines of customers in the drive through, fries are slightly warm and the polite friendliness of the cashiers in the drive through is all gone. 50% of the time you can forget about getting what I ordered and paid for in my to go bag. Yes, the food is good, but when I visit other locations, it's much better.. My order is right, the food is hot and not soggy, and the cashiers are friendly and polite. This seems to be a local issue.
