Andys Hometowne Pizza — Restaurant in Albertville

We've been to this pizza place several times because we LOVE their pizza and it's kid friendly with a play area!!! The one time we drove an hour to eat there, waited forever to have a worker greet us and then he had a bad attitude when he told us the dining room was closed for a Birthday party (like we should of known). The next time, we called ahead, because we drive an hour to eat there and the guy on the phone was extremely rude when answering the question, "is your dining room open" ....like that would never happen. We went there anyways, and the one worker was very nice and doing his best to keep up with the busy day. The other worker/driver was full of attitude, turned a lot of customers away and had extremely terrible customer service. This worker, needs to find a new job and not let his stress show onto customers. We witnessed a lot of customers walk out and several rude phone conversations. I have never written a review before BUT this experience truly disgusted my husband and I. Suddenly the pizza doesn't taste that great and I doubt we would ever drive there again to enjoy their...

We ordered two 30 inch MONSTER pizzas for a party we were having last night, and we were blown away by the excellent service provided for the staff at pick up, courtesy of the employees, and attention to detail with the order. The icing on the cake was the delicious pizza; it got rave reviews at our party!

We opted to get a half cheese/half pepperoni for one, and the other was 1/4 taco, 1/4 5 meat, 1/4 veggie and 1/4 pineapple jalapeno. The staff were good enough to send our taco pizza toppings in to-go containers so that it wouldn't get soggy on the ride, and they even carried the pizzas out to our car. The pizzas were loaded with toppings, cut uniformly, and were a huge hit! The crust was crispy and the flavor was amazing. When you cook such big pizzas, you'd expect some defects, but every piece from start to finish was great...and none of the edges were burnt! Everyone asked us where we got them, and we couldn't help but brag about what a great restaurant Andy's was!

If you're in the market to feed a big crowd, and want delicious pizza, opt for Andy's... you won't be...

I was really bummed, I've heard amazing things about the food and service at Andy's. My boyfriend graduated college and we figured we'd try the place out to celebrate since we just moved to the area. We and some of the family arrived around 2 in the afternoon on 5/10 and the place was completely empty. We rang the bell for service twice. We didnt want to further annoy employees so we sat ourselves and took a couple menus that were by the cash register. Not sure if it's seat yourselves or not but we figured it may have been smoke break time or a busy cook in the back. We heard noise from the back but no one responded or heard we were there.

After about 5-10 minutes of looking through the menu and ringing the bell again, we decided to call the rest of the family and have them meet us elsewhere to eat.

I know they had signs to be patient due to remodeling but we thought it was odd.. We know employees had to be inside (we saw workers coming in and leaving while entering the parking lot) and heard people in the back. Just a little disappointing due to the hype...
