Blake's Lotaburger — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Store#072 central and atrisco. I randomly stopped for breakfast at 6:30 am. Orders except once are always correct. I always see the same female cook, I like way she prepares burritos ,eggs cook just right, I get no cheese, add chopped green verses sauce and sometimes extra bacon with side of red. Order correct eveytime and rolled to protection 👌. The window people are always so nice, and friendly (except one male that appears to not be morning person lol he says in that male voice "how can I help you? Just direct to point, but when you go to pay, he gives you your order it's always thank you have good day! Don't smile nothing but once get to window and he sends you off he's ok.LIKE THE SAYING GOES DON'T READ BOOK BY ITS COVER! Now Melody, that girl is sooo nice! she is always friendly, talkative, smiling. I never had iced coffee before she asked (guessing was a promotion) if I'd like one. I normally say no cause never drank one before. Well one morning I questioned on it when she asked she stated she likes and figured I try one and asked which one cause I was clueless. She said she likes the vanilla one, so I went with that! Not good idea, now I'm hooked. Not too point that it's daily but definitely do crave one randomly. Tried at other lota burger but this girl has that certain touch that tastes so good to me! I'll stick to this place for one. So with all this being said, they are fast, friendly and for now you have...

This was the worst experience at a Blake's that I've ever had, and I'm from here. I understand things are tough right now. However, I just waited in the drive-thru for almost an hour for a simple green chili cheese burger-no fries, no drink (three people ahead of me)....and when I FINALLY got my food I realized I received someone else's double something with some kind of sauce on it and a large cold soggy fry-it honestly didn't even look like Blake's food. I've heard recently, that the original recipes have changed...the fries didn't even taste like Blake's fries: they were mushy and soggy. As for the burger, I didn't want a double meat with some strange sauce. If I could have eaten it, I would have. I was starving. I was already home when I realized it was wrong. If they had been pushing through meals I would have been more understanding...but she asked me what I ordered after waiting in line for 45 min, and I believe, she proceeded to make it because I waited ten minutes more after I paid her....and now I have a huge soggy meal that I have no intention of eating. I don't eat out very often...and I'm so disappointed. I might try again, because of my history with the chain. I've been going there every so often since I was small....but I'll never go back to...

This is my neighborhood Blake's, and I've come to really love this location. I get the number 3 with red once a week, and have never had an issue. My experience with the staff is quite favorable. Rhonda has the best attitude ever, and is always kind. Today I ordered a Lotacombo with cheese and green chile that was probably the best technically executed burger I've has from Blakes. The burger was gently wrapped to preserve the tall, perfectly toasted bun. The veggies remained in the burger, unlike the times when they are just thrown together and fall out as soon as it's opened. The burger was juicy, and grilled with care. I observed the cook, a kind older gentleman whose name I did not catch, cook the burger to textbook perfection. He cooked the patty until it had ample juices on top, then flipped, never did I seen him try to rush it out my smashing it with the spatula. He didn't fuss with it either, which resulted in the quintessential Blake's experience: the burger gets better and with each bite, and the last bite is an apex of flavor! Fries were GBD, that's golden brown and delicious. They were hot and crispy, and perfectly salted. I'm super happy with my experience today. Thank you to the team at Blake's on Atrisco...
