Bubba's 33 — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Me and my family visited this location last night and had the worst dining experience of our lives. For context, we have been to the other location dozens of times and always enjoy the experience. This location, however, should be re-staffed immediately. We got sat at 7:30pm after being on the waitlist for about 20 minutes. After getting sat it took 25 minutes to be assigned a server. Our server took our drink orders, but refused to serve a member of our party for having a vertical ID, which is not uncommon and we expected. After letting us know, they simply walked away without taking drink orders for the rest of the table. After some time passed, a new server came by and brought some of the drinks that were ordered, but they were all made incorrectly. Some missing ingredients, some wrong all together. After getting 4/7 drinks after 40 minutes at our table, we had a different server come by and take our order. We waited another 20 minutes and some of us were served our starter salads, one that had to be made again 3 times because they kept putting egg on it. We had been in the restaurant for over an our at this point, and 3 of us had gotten our entrees, but we were missing 4 plates. We then had the first waitress come back and ask us our entire order again because she didn’t get 4 of the 7 of them put in. After an hour and a half of being there, we were waiting on the other plates and MORE SALADS showed up. They had brought us all our starter salads again, and still hadn’t brought 4 entrees while 3 of us had ours sitting in front of us for 25 minutes. We then had the manager come up to our table and ask us if we wanted those plates TO GO! We finally had to walk out because we couldn’t believe what was happening. I have been to Bubba's 33 several times (at the behest of friends, in hopes they would improve) and every time it has been lackluster. Bland overly greasy food, limited menu options, limited and poor beer selections, w/unimaginative cocktails. Limited and short happy hour selections; and a loud and obnoxious atmosphere. It is a SHOCK to me that anyone finds this establishment worth the time. HIGH prices for the amount and presentation of entrees. My most recent visit (because a friend wanted to go), and MY LAST EVER VISIT, was 08.06.2025. I was hoping that they had improved their service and selections but they had actually limited both. I arrived at B33 @ Cottonwood and they were busy, w/ a waiting line... I asked for a table for 2 and was actually immediately seated. However, as I waited for my friend to arrive I needed to use the restroom. There was a line, so 'going' took 10 minutes or so. Bathroom info: small, dirty, and inadequate bathrooms for the size of the establishment. There were lines for both men and women's bathrooms. NOT ACCEPTABLE for such a large business. As I returned to my table after 8 minutes, they had already given it away to others. When I informed them they had made a SERIOUS mistake and needed to reseat me IMMEDIATELY, they told me it would be 15-20 minutes for a new table... UNACCEPTABLE!! Food: The food here is exceptional and the only issues I've had were my tater tots being loaded wrong, but other then that the food is always a good find. I recommend the shotgun shrimp po boy and loaded tater tots

Service: Okay this one's difficult. First off I get it, the location opened a month or two back and these servers and bartenders might be inexperienced and not used to bubbas 33. Although now being it has been opened for a bit I find that some servers are still unaware of their own jobs menu and this makes it difficult to get service. As for the bar oh boy. Ive had some good bar top service... Depending who the bartender is. I wont drop names, but there's a couple who just get your order and don't even bother to say hello or give a friendly greeting. Theres times the bar is out of some beer which is frustrating and to make it more difficult is the fact some of these bartenders just seem annoyed to have you here. I'd say give a warm greeting and that's all you ever need for a great experience.

Atmosphere: I mean it's nice nothing crazy. I do find it annoying this location only has one bar area, but other then that everything about the environment is nice and doesn't feel too cluttered.
