This is a pretty cool place to chill, especially in the afternoon. I visited the plaza at the end of our road trip. Stopped in ABQ to take our homemade version of a Braking Bad tour in the area and finished here since it was right across the street from our hotel (Hyatt Regency). We were able to take some pictures and (sort of) recreate the shot that was filmed in the show. For a place that holds most large public events, including CityFest, under the hellish summer sun, this place is woefully inadequate for shade and cleanliness. Add to that a resident population of the homeless and cockroaches that come out after the summer sun has set, and you have all of the ingredients for embarrassing yourself in front of your out-of-town guests. Fixing this place is necessary and would cheap and easy.
Otherwise, this is as good a place as any for cooped-up city workers to enjoy a...
