El Botanero de Guaymas — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Do not waste your time. I understand there is understaffed issues but the waitress was rude the owner pretended not to be the owner thinking we didn't know who they were. Also we ordered the oyster shots which had alot of hype so we were excited only to have slimy warm oysters and we couldn't even swallow them because the taste was so pungent. the waitress decided to argue and the owner came out to prove that they were fresh for those in the shell although thoes may be fresh but the ones we had weren't. Then when we decided to check out the waitress had the nerve to argue with my mother in law again and tell her that she didn't know what she was saying and made a Snide remark that we can get a discount if we come back. Sorry but we will never return to this establishment. The level of disrespect...

You guys just need to change the close time to 7:30. Viewing some of the previous comments i wasnt the only one who had that problem. I made an online order, showed up at 7:20 ish and the doors were closed, i tried calling no answer after multiple attempts. I saw they let someone in so i stood by the door. I went in and let them know i had an online order. They couldnt figure out from where i made it. After asking me 3 times what my order was and where i made it from(i literally clicked on their website) they found it and started making it. We enjoyed the food. I really liked my marlin tacos. Haven't had those since I was in Mexico and they were tasty. Had delicous agua de Jamaica, too. The rice is good. The side salad was ok. My husband ordered shrimp fajitas and they were good and tasted fresh but he was disappointed they didn't come with tortillas. This restaurant doesn't serve beans either, so just a heads up. My dad got huevos rancheros and liked them. The salsas are good and hot. The service was good.
