Welcome to Albuquerque! We Ubered from the airport to this location and arrived at 10:30 PM, a half hour before the closing time advertised on this app. The door was already closed and there were still people inside the establishment. The customers who just left opened the door for us when they left, but the staff inside declined to provide us service, stating and repeating that the lobby was closed. They were obviously still serving food, as cars continued to make their way through the drive-through. I asked them about ordering through the drive through and they did not respond. We told them that we had walked with our luggage and told them that we took an Uber here to eat before it closed. They ignored us and simply repeated that the lobby was closed. We walked around to the drive-through, which they were still serving people from, and they only responded with one sentence: “the drive through is for cars only.” I responded again that we Ubered from the airport, hoping for some sort of response or reaction, but none was provided. They just declined to continue speaking with us. Eventually, when we blocked both driveway lanes, they finally deigned to address us again. They repeated that the drive-through was just for cars, that people could only order through the lobby, and that the lobby was closed. That there was nothing they could do for us. They were completely closed to any sort of dialogue until we forced their hand by occupying both drive through lanes. They lacked any empathy. Though they were still serving food, they declined to serve it through us, even after we proposed ordering through the app and waiting outside. They were not interested in finding any resolution— it was just not their problem. They also declined to provide us with the name of their manager. Read moreI had a terrible experience at this McDonald’s, and I feel like the employees don’t care about customer service at all. Every time I come here, I end up waiting more than 10 minutes for my order, and the employees who are supposed to be bagging the food just stand around on their phones instead of working. This time, I ordered at the kiosk and went to the counter to pay. The cashier, Mariah, was rude from the start. She had an attitude, didn’t say a word after taking my payment, and didn’t even hand me my receipt. No “your food will be ready soon” or anything—just silence. Later, when my sister and I were waiting for our food, she came up rudely asking, “What happened?” instead of simply asking if we needed help. Then, when she bagged our food, she threw it in the bag with no care. When I sat down to eat, I realized they had given me unsweet tea instead of sweet tea. When we went back to the counter to ask for the right drink, the manager was also rude and dismissive, cutting us off with “Yeah, I heard you,” as if we were bothering him. Meanwhile, Mariah was in the background making comments like, “I swear I gave them sweet tea,” when she clearly didn’t. My sister called her out on how rude she was being, and instead of owning up to it, she got defensive and kept denying it. The manager didn’t even listen to us—he just told us to leave.This McDonald’s needs serious improvement in customer service. Read moreFirst off I came in the lobby to order food for my family to take at the park which my drinks were not completelted was missing 2 and no sauces for my nuggets not ketchup for fries and no straws not only that my 4 yr old needed the bathroom really bad she was refused to use the bathroom I had to rush to my car unable to check my order to rush her to a smoke shop next door called Lit it is super sad a smoke let her use the bathroom and not McDonald's which is supposed to be a family fast food joint this is by far the worst thing you can do as a company no respect, no care horrible customer service at that! I get an adult but a kid c'mon McDonald's is the worst place for anything always missing an item or a whole meal, to rush service and less than par customer service, and cold coffee. McDonald's has really gone down hill and this as a company refusing a 4 yr old the restroom is below any companies pride this is a whole new level of less than we will not be returning to this McDonald's at all or any at that thank you Lit for your kindness in allowing my 4 yr old the bathroom when McDonald's refused her when it's open 100% capacity all over new Mexico for places. please help support Lit their smoke shop is super clean and amazing customer service for all you smokers this is where it's at Lit smoke shop it's super sad a smoke shop let's a child use the restroom when McDonald's is supposed to be a "family" place such a disgrace and unsatisfying customer experience for us at this McDonald's.
