( disclaimer this is about a situation that happened at the mall on July 3rd and has nothing to do with the businesses within i think they're an awesome mall to visit good variety of food this is my copy and paste complaint from the allied universal page i'd like to make coronado center management aware of this liability to the mall) Terrible service especially when trying to make complaint against individuals. On July 3rd, Had an encounter at coronado mall with an security guard who came off out the gate rude and condescending telling me i was loitering because i walked the mall till close time. He never identified himself except by 117. Never had even made contact or conversation with him before this interaction. I was accompanied by my service animal who attracts much attention he's English bulldog and people love taking pictures and petting him he's very friendly but also thats a reason we stay for so long he has to take his breaks his breed of dog has hard time breathing but exercise helps rid this problem. And its safe inside from the heat. But anyway i was accused of loitering when i literally was wearing some jeans i bought that day from a shop i carry a back pack and put water for my dog but also items I've purchased inside. He alluded to me harassing minors right before our contact a group of young ladies asked to pet my dog i allowed it no nefarious behavior at all was reported on their end. He basically gaslighted the whole situation. He lied about me and the young ladies said they didn't pet my dog,(im sure surveillance cameras caught it) said he sees me at mall too much never buying anything. He Told me i need to get a job. Which is hilarious because i work construction and have been working 60hr/week for the last 6 months i dont party or club i just enjoy walking my dog and looking for deals at mall and ive only been to the mall about 3 or 4 times the last 2 months(purchased items every time i went). I also know the shop owners of one of the store who need my help moving locations. Seems like he (the wannabe cop) is the only person who has had issue my presence. I dont see the issue with this. Am i crazy? Should i be more like mr. Robocop. I didn't see a time limit or an order that to enter mall one MUST purchase items or you are subject to trespass. My service animal is well behaved and you cannot trespass me because i have one, to be clear he just threatened to trespass me never did but im still gonna make sure this guy is held accountable. Ruined my night. A second allied guard came to escort us out basically since mall was closed but was much more professional and witnessed himself people asking to take pictures and apologized on behalf of the other guard who was his supervisor. The bad number of the decent allied guard is 107. The One who harassed me and belittled me badge is 117 supposedly he rides a segway wears a...
Read moreMonths back, I took my family to this mall and shortly afterward we all became very sick with what seemed like a viral infection or flu. It was so severe that my husband ended up in the emergency room due to dehydration from how sick he got. At the time I didn’t know why, but recently I spoke with someone who used to work in the mall’s cleaning department and what they told me was truly disturbing—and it made everything click.
According to this firsthand account, the cleaning department here is one of the most unsanitary they had ever worked for. The same rags used to clean bathrooms, toilets, and food court tables are all washed together in one washing machine, which is already concerning. On top of that, the dryer has been broken, so the rags are just hung to air dry instead of being properly sanitized. Even worse, staff were reportedly peeing in the very same room where cleaning supplies were supposed to be maintained.
Whenever employees raised concerns about these unsanitary practices, they were ignored. And shockingly, I was told that health inspectors turn a blind eye because of personal relationships with management. If that’s true, this is blatant corruption, and it puts every visitor to this mall at risk.
How would you feel if your family, your children, or your elderly loved ones ended up in the hospital because of negligence like this? And you’re left paying for the fallout, not the ones responsible. I am horrified, appalled, and deeply disappointed. Until I see true accountability, transparency, and change, I will not be shopping at...
