I went to enjoy a meal with my family at this location. Unfortunately we were treated very poorly by Jess as soon as we walked into the door. She looked so annoyed with me and my daughters presence, it made me very uncomfortable. Due to the negative energy I received I thought the store was about to close. I asked her about store hours. It was about 2 hours before closing. Despite the Attitude, I continued to have a smile on my face with a very nice tone as me and my family took our order. 2 adults, 1 child. I understand the stress and workload of a minimum wage job. I brushed off the attitude and went to find a seat. After finishing our food I continued to finish up some work. Another customer was also doing work on his computer and he was still there after we left. Jess was vacuuming the dining area. As she got toward our table she hit my chair hard enough to push me forward. She did not say anything, It’s common courtesy to apologize. She was visibly annoyed with me, and my daughter. My daughter is well behaved and she was watching videos on her iPad. We literally were just sitting the entire time. It was about an hour before closing. I did not give Jess no attitude and I did not comment to her directly regarding her attitude. She made me and my family feel very uncomfortable. Being Native American in a business like Panera bread I expected to eventually have an experience like this. I tried to discuss my concerns with the manager on duty and she quickly disregarded my concerns. I actually asked for the store manager but she insisted I tell her about the situation. I immediately knew nothing was going to be addressed because of her immediate response. The manager on duty tonight 02/28 would not tell me who the direct general manager of the store was. According to her, every manager in the store runs the business equally. As I was walking out Jess stared me down because she heard me ask for her name. I told her to have a wonderful night and continued to leave with my family. Just like Jess, I work hard for my money and it sucks to spend my hard earned money at a business I thought had respect for their customers. Maybe the respect disregards Native Americans.
03/07 Mary the general manager of this store called me to talk about my concerns and ensured me that discrimination is against store policy. She listened to my concerns and offered me a feel meal to make up for my experience. Very much...
Read moreUsually I love Panera. My family and I eat here often and with their new family feasts it was even better... Keyword: WAS. The last few times I've ordered, things have been left out here or there. Small things, not really a big issue. And I've been experiencing rudeness from the window employees. Tonight was different... Not only was the cashier not friendly but one of our sandwiches have barely any meat, the french bread loaf wasn't a loaf but rather they threw 6 pieces of bread into our bag, no wrapper, nothing. And on too of that the avocado in sandwiches were hard and not even ready to eat, I couldn't even bite through it and that's a pretty good indicator that it's not edible yet and needs to ripen more. In the one photo I'm squeezing the avocado, normally they squish when squeezed... And you can tell I couldn't even bite through it, and I tried twice to make sure I wasn't being karenish. It was just really disappointing considering we've always loved eating here because they are friendly, they make the food delicious and our order is always good. But now it seems like they're service is more like that of...
Read moreOkay okay, the food is awesome here. That's the ONLY thing that keeps me coming back. But every single time I go in the employees give me serious attitude. They all act like they hate everyone that walks through the door. It's so disrespectful, last night when I went in with my family we were the only people that were in line to order and we were looking at the menu trying to decide because some of my family doesn't go there often. The menu is pretty confusing so we didn't know what we wanted. Ever since we walked in, the girl at the register was just Starring at us! It's like the manager TRAINED her to pressure the guest into ordering. So since she was just looking at us I told her we were still deciding and she sarcastically chuckled and said "ya". And continued to stare at us. I still regret not talking to the manager while I was there. This isn't the first time we've gotten attitude either, I've asked for clairification about the menu before because they were doing the same thing, just starring at me, and they rudely and effortlessly explained it. I always end up ordering under pressure and spending way...
