What can I say? If you're into induction cooking and enjoy half-cooked food because everything is done on induction grills instead of gas fire—then this might be the place for you. The concept is interesting, but the execution falls short. We’ve had Korean BBQ all over the world and were genuinely excited to have an AYCE (All You Can Eat) Korean BBQ option here in Albuquerque. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The grill only cooked food properly in certain spots—likely due to the grill plate being curved and unevenly heated by the induction. We asked the staff to turn the heat up, but then food would burn on the outside while still being undercooked inside. It took forever to cook anything properly, and the whole process was frustrating. While we enjoyed the hotpot portion—it actually worked well with induction—the Korean BBQ setup just didn’t work. In our opinion, switching to gas grills would significantly improve the experience. Watching food burn in one spot and sit raw in another really ruined the meal. On top of that, the buffet-style setup for fried foods and potstickers felt odd and underwhelming. There was no salad and we got a whole lot of food we didn't even over! The guy just delivered it to us. I find the Ipad ordering system to be very difficult for such a small table we had. We also didn’t have much space at the table for the food, which made things even more awkward. For nearly $100, it just wasn’t worth it. We’ll stick to making Korean BBQ at home or visit other cities like Vegas, Dallas, Phoenix, or Denver, where we’ve had much better experiences. Honestly, we don’t even like Gen AYCE—but that place is still better than this one. At least they offer a salad and have a more functional setup. One last note—there was a man in a North Face shirt walking around greeting guests. We noticed he warmly greeted everyone around us who appeared to be Asian, but he completely skipped over our table. It felt uncomfortable and left a bad impression. Sadly, we won’t be back.

Okay where do I start, hmmmmm I have seen a couple posting on Facebook about this place. Ever since we, my family and I moved back from Tempe, AZ. It has been very hard to find a good Korean BBQ place. The one place we had tried on Central was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Understanding that this had just opened so of course the wait would have been a long wait. I decided to come early, I was not the only person with the same thought lol. But my family and I got in right away and was sat fairly quickly. The booths were a bit of a tight fit. The grill was awesome, it wasn’t gas, it was electric. Which from our past experience I was a bit disappointed. The grill turned out to be better than I thought. Thank you for that. Our server at the time was very new but she turned out to so very helpful. As crowed and busy the place got she tried to return to our table to ensure we had full drinks and water. She even offered to change out our grill. The menu was very nice, we had to use a iPad to order our meats for the BBQ. The selection offered was beyond excellent even if you were not going for the premium choice cuts. Myself and my girls would have liked to tried out their hotpot’s. But on the next trip we hope to give it a go. I hope to do review on these place in the near future. I hope to take my parents there as well since my dad and mom always like the idea of trying out new foods. Thank you for the awesome experience, as for our server at the time I am sorry I didn’t get her name. Thank for giving us the best experience even though you were pretty nervous. I hope to get you as our next time. SO THANK YOU FOR THE AWESOME EXPERIENCE AND GREAT FOOD. Plus now I am not missing AZ so much now. Keep up the great work.

Dined in at this spot on 3/20, a Thursday night. Arrived at 6 pm with a party of 3, and checked in to our wait time. At the time of checking in, we were estimated a 35-45m wait. We waited over an hour to be seated. This wasn't really an issue, seeing how busy the place was. Me and my fiance and a friend had been wanting to try this place since they first opened a few months prior. Unfortunately, it was still packed even on a week day. Upon being taken to our table, the hostess was rude, as if she was annoyed we were there when we had walked up to claim our spot. She seated us without a word. After reading the reviews, I expected that to be the worst of it. Our server was no better. Unfortunately, we did not get his name, and it was also not on our receipt upon leaving. It seemed our server didn't quite know the menu or know how to explain the experience to our party. He asked if we had been here before, to which we said it was our first time, and he was very vague on the process. We had to be very patient and figure it out as we went. The tablets they give you to order as you go are extremely slow. We spent a lot of our 90m time at our table fighting with it to order. It unfortunately was extremely laggy. We had ordered the hotpot and BBQ combo for the upcharge and ordered everything for our hotpots right away. We only received one order of noodles out of our 3. Our server was extremely inattentive and hard to flag down. He was attentive to tables further down our isle, but would cut around and not pass by our table, or if he did he wouldn't stop for us, so we did not end up getting to ask for help for another 30 minutes. Which, when your meal time is being timed, is a long time to wait. We also had issues with different things we ordered, not ever making it to our table. We ended up ordering items multiple times just to get one round. At one point, we asked a younger gentleman dropping off food for help, as we could not find out waiter, to which we were told he "did not know", laughed, and walked away from our table. Coming in on the end of our dining experience, at the mark of 30m left on our table, our check was brought to us, and our grill was turned off, despite us still cooking food and having more meat on the way to our table. It was another 15 minutes until we could catch someone to resolve the issue for us. When I told our waiter, he cut me off when I was explaining how long it had been off, said "oh sorry" and quickly walked away, despite us having lost even more time. At the end of our time, we had asked another server if we could take anything to go with an extra charge as we were unable to finish eating due to our grill being off, to which we were told absolutely not, and rudely shown the menu where it was confusingly noted an extra $8 would be charged per person, for extra food leftover. This was not explained to us upon sitting down, so we assumed it was to take your leftovers. It is if an abundance of food is ordered, and not eaten. The entire dining situation was explained to both servers, to which we were brushed off and rushed out of our booth. When we were paying with our server, he stood over me watching the screen while I tipped and shook his head annoyingly at us. We were not thanked for dining, and we were not wished a good rest of our night. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience. The quality of the food itself was good. Unfortunately, the price itself is not worth it with such bad service. From the hostess, to the servers, to the people running the food. We found nobody to be helpful, attentive, or kind. As someone who has worked in the food industry, customer service, and retail, it was shocking and disappointing to receive such poor service at such an establishment. And, so new to be noted as well. This will not be a spot we will be returning to or...

I was able to try iGrill tonight and wow it is everything I hoped it would be!

I'm a huge Korean BBQ fan, and until now I've had to go out of my way to get good kbbq every time I travel out of town. I am estatic to say that I now don't have to travel far at all from my own house to get for great kbbq! Having had kbbq in LA, Vegas, Denver, Tokyo, and even Seoul, I can honestly say iGrill is one of the best I've been to, especially in the states.

The best comparison to iGrill I can make is KPot, which I love. iGrill combines Korean BBQ with Hot Pot, with each person at the table getting their own hot pot they can eat from while the grill is going.

I had the Spicy Szechuan hot pot broth, and it was delicious and extremely flavorful. The hot pot item selection is absolutely massive, with tons of veggie and meat options.

There are also a ton of options for the grill, more than most kbbq restaurants. We had all our favorite items, including pork belly (spicy, marinated, and smoked), beef bulgogi, spicy pork bulgogi, and delicious galbi. Everything was really quality, and wonderfully marinated. They also have the best beef bulgogi I think I've ever had.

The grill itself is fantastic. It's a non-stick stone grill top, and we didn't even need a single grill change for the full two hours, which is crazy. They also have the best type of exhaust vent, that pulls the smoke down into the table, so you aren't fighting with a giant exhaust pole coming out of the ceiling all night.

They have an extensive sauce bar, with all the hits, including hoison, peanut sauce, gochujang, chili oil, etc. In addition, the kimchi at the bar is delicious.

Lastly, the atmosphere and service were both fantastic. This place is really, really nice. The lighting is great, the seating is nice, the tables are nice, and even the bathroom was great. The servers were all new, but very friendly, polite, and attentive. You order on a tablet, with a very nice system that works really well - and the food arrives at your table in no time.

Overall, I'm so happy we have such a great Kbbq spot so close to home. I'm looking forward to many more dinners here for...
