We ordered two sandwiches: a Reuben and a Grinder.
The first sandwich, the Reuben, arrived in a reasonable time (about 10â15 minutes). However, the Grinder took over half an hour. Because of the delay, we ended up splitting the Reuben and requesting the Grinder to go. It was frustrating that the kitchen served the two sandwichesâordered simultaneouslyâat such different times. Restaurants should aim to bring out orders together.
The service felt disorganized overall. The server kept wandering between tables asking if they were missing anything, and it was clear other diners were also frustrated. The restaurant didnât seem particularly busy, so the confusion was surprising.
As for the food, the Grinder was pretty good. We didnât enjoy the Reuben as much because of the sweetness of the sauerkraut. That might be a personal preference, but weâre not fans of kraut with added sugar.
The space itself is invitingâbright, open, and sunny. We might consider returning to try other menu...
Read moreIâve had several different things for breakfasts and lunch. Their breakfast is good I got the New Yorker and could tell they use quality Bacon I like they get local bagels and not from the grocery store, as for their yogurt parfait I didnât like that itâs pre-made because the granola was soggy they should make them fresh. Their sandwiches and salads for lunch are good but not a great value for what you pay for all you get is a Sandwich they should have included chips you have to pay extra for chips. You can get great sandwiches and a better deal at Alâs Big Dipper for about the same price all sandwiches come with a choice of 4 sides and all sandwiches and salads come with a cookie. Disappointed they changed their breakfast hours...
Read moreâAll day breakfastâ mentioned here on Google is no longer. I drove here from the Northeast heights, so it was disappointing to be turned down for a breakfast order at 11:47am. Apparently the cutoff is 11:30am, and despite the close proximity an exception to policy wasnât offered.
Rather than be pushy I settled for an Italian grinder, overcoming the temptation to simply walk out.
Iâm astonished at the lack of meat and cheese on this sandwich. As someone from the New York area, Iâve never seen such a light bite advertised as an âItalian grinderâ.
For a moment I wondered if I accidentally received a vegetarian sandwich, and thatâs no joke. Flavor profile is pretty darn...
