Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest — Local services in Four Corners States

HIGHLY RECOMMEND, 4-stars given because I don't fancy chocolate or coffee but wanted to be at this event. Would've given 5-stars if I sampled product.

Mostly outdoor event and so many people! Yay!

First time I have been to the Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Festival and it was better than I had imagined!It was so much more than just chocolate and coffee at the 2-day event. Great atmosphere to spend a few hours, lots of free samples and show specials.

There was a vast amount of bakers, chocolatiers, bread makers, coffee roasters, candy makers, popcorn, tea and other delicacies to get your taste buds tingling inside the Expo. I was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of bee vendors selling honey products. Honey goes well with coffee, tea and baking products 💛

In addition, the streets were lined with more vendors, food trucks, wineries, breweries and live music with attendees dancing and having a wonderful experience on Main Street at the fairgrounds.

Will I return? Absolutely yes. See...

I really enjoyed this event. Lots of fun to be in an enthusiastic crowd after years of covid restrictions. There were tons of great vendors giving away amazing samples. Live music, a good layout, and delicious food made this an event to remember. My only gripe is the entry and parking fee. After spending $40 total just to get in, my husband and I couldn't justify buying much from the actual vendors. Instead we tasted a lot of samples, and bought a couple small things. We really wanted to support the small businesses represented there. Instead, based on the website, it looks like vendors need to pay to be there, then spend their own funds to offer samples. This seems entirely unfair. If I'm going to pay a ton to get in, I'd like it to go to the vendors who spent so much time and money to be there. Better yet, it would be great if the entry cost diminished significantly, so that we could have given our money directly to vendors, and come home with...

Chocolates from white to milk to dark, even baking chocolate. Coffee of every origin and roast. Wines, spirits, coffee, lemonades, and so much more. Even a few gluten-free, nut-free, and vegan options. Food trucks, toffee, popcorn, cheese curds, candles, soaps, henna, the list goes on! This is one of my favorite shopping events!

The special, high-end coffee tasting special event was definitely worth the extra purchase.
