Hello online readers. Those wanting to invest in a trailer from here a word of caution. I purchased a 6x10 utility trailer by Carry On and 4 months down the road the paint is chipping off. In a lot of different areas the trailer is turning into a rust bucket. The axle started leaking. I called in and voiced my concern I brought it in and they said to leave it there they could remedy it by the end of the week. Two weeks pass by and I stop by to see if it's repaired. It's half done and by rattle can. I asked for them to pause and ask higher ups of there was a better solution since it was coming out terrible with paint run and overspray. Couple days later I receive a txt and call to come pick up my trailer that the issues were not covered under warranty so I get my half painted trailer back looks terrible. I feel awful for investing from these two companies. Neither did what's right. Also pointed out that the wiring was going to rub through the bare metal areas they ran it through because of the sharp edges and no gromits. Came in to find a new trailer for my new side by side , hours showed 930am. Showed up and they were still closed . After calling and asking they did open the gates. A truck was there with a trailer so we let them drive in first , but then the worker put cones in the road before we could pull in. We parked on the side of the road and walked in still not sure why they blocked us out. That’s where we were told we needed to give our name and phone number before we could even look at the trailers !! I said fine and said out loud my name and number , but the sales worker insisted he get some paperwork. Sounds like they want to run your credit just to look!? I will take my 7k and shop elsewhere. Typical scummy salesman nonsense. I came in to get a few trailer prices. After looking at several on the lot and picking a few out I asked the salesman that had joined us how much they were. They said they had to go inside to look it up. I reluctantly gave over some contact information and answered various meaningless questions. He then printed up two quotes for the two trailers I had asked about. Before leaving I went out to verify the VINs, both of the quotes were for completely different trailers with different options.
