Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Alcoa

Unfortunately I have to update my review. I eat at various Saldaritas all the time. This one on Alcoa used to be fine. The workers, surely working hard and seem nice enough, but I can't get over the fact that they've repeatedly shorted me ingredients. This isn't an isolated incident. After the first time this happened, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and hoped ot wouldn't happen again. However today has been the 3rd ot 4th time in a row at this location. I ordered a steak bowl combo (nachos and a drink). Plenty of filler material (rice & beans), but not even a half full scoop of meat, cheese, etc. I know they use pre measured utensils, but even that pre measured utensil was only 1/3 or less full. I brought almost empty ladle to the worker's attention and asked if they'd use the whole label. He then whispered "extra" to the next guy and, of course, I got charged for extra ingredients for each of the ingredients that they shorted me on. They tried to short me meat, question cheese, and olives. This isnt a good way to do business. I'll be skipping this restaurant...

Clean location. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was great as well. Tasted fresh the presentation was great. They even had a guy offering to get refills for you. I have never experienced anything like that in a restaurant of this type. It was a very pleasant visit.

Edit: Went back there again and tried the steak burrito bowl. The flavor was incredible. Best steak burrito bowl I've had. However, I have to dock a star as I paid closer attention to their food placements. The juice from the pork literallly drips into everything between the pork and the staff member. Don't judge, but I can't stand pork or the flavor of it. So, when I was about to order the ground beef I saw the juices dripping into the beef, I ended up going with the steak. Which ended up being great, but I think they could do a little better with the...

I was super disappointed in our experience today. I have to say we have loved Salsarita's in the past, but today was awful. First of all, the lady who brought us our order was rude (we called ahead to change our drink orders as they don't offer agua fresca on the app anymore and they still brought us the wrong drinks. When we kindly asked her for the right drinks she was very bothered and made us feel like we were a huge burden.) Then, our burrito bowl wasn't in the normal container, but it was in a smaller Togo container that was only half filled. The shrimp was so tiny and definitely not the normal flavorful shrimp we've gotten from the before. Finally, the mango fresca was extremely watered down. We'll definitely think twice about ordering...
