I'm from the Bronx, NYC & was excited to support a 'native NYer.'
My wife & I ordered an Italian sub and a 3 cheese grilled cheese sandwich (1️⃣ of the cheeses was American (btw)) and 2 sodas.
The sub was good, not great, and my wife said the grilled cheese was 'OK.'

Eddie himself is so friendly and personable and demonstrably passionate about quality and you can see the love he puts into the shop.
Shop local! Get a sandwich!

BUT, Eddie's has changed my mind about everything! I've always have heard about the cutlet sandwiches. So, I finally tried one. Y'all, it was amazing! I highly recommend the cutlets. Along, with the nostalgia vibes they've got some pretty neat snacks and I've plenty of times have picked up some sauces and noodles for a last-minute dinner idea. Also, the seasonal drinks are great. It's refreshing to have a half-n-half with cherry lemonade and iced tea. Don't forget to get a cannoli every once...
