Went through the drive thru and it surprisingly wasn't a long wait with them being new. We placed our order at 4:08pm, per the receipt. However... We got to the first window to pay, they ask for the name, we waited a few minutes, she came back and said our order was put in wrong and they had to do it again. A few minutes later, she took the card and charged us and made our 1 drink. All the cars in front of us were long gone by this point and the line was now wrapped to the front of the building behind us. We got our drink and pulled to the second window. The girl came up and asked for our receipt. A couple minutes later she came back and said they didn't start it and would start it then. A few minutes later, she said it was still going to be a few minutes and asked up to park up front. At 4:51pm, my husband went inside to see what what was taking so long. Turns out they never start our food. The manager took the receipt, saw the time and said "I'm sorry, we forgot to make your order." (For the second time) We finally left at 4:59. They didn't give us the receipt back either. Order: $38.54 #1, fries, sweet tea- tea is good, burger is good, they did not give me the fries Triple Steak Burger- good Crispy Chicken Club- good Cheese Fries, large- very disappointing, fries weren't bad but the smallest amount of cheese dropped on the middle of the fries. *Pictured Cheese Curds, regular- container barely full, otherwise good. *Pictured

I was contacted by corporate and by the local franchise, who both expressed apologies. I was sent 2 comp card for custard. I have since been back and ordered the same meal, asking it be prepared the same way. This time it was completed correctly, burger tasted good and the fries were freshly cooked. Updated this review from 3 to 4 stars.
Original review: I have had Freddy’s twice before in Lafayette, LA and I greatly enjoyed it. Therefore I was excited about them coming to Alexandria and was really looking forward to trying them again. However I was a little disappointed with my experience today. After getting my order in the drive thru, as I pulled away I tried a couple of fries. They were cold and did not taste fresh. I also ordered the Bacon Double Cheeseburger, plain, with just bacon and cheese. The receipt shows the correct order but when I got back to work and opened it up, the burger was fully dressed and did not have any bacon. I didn’t eat the rest of the fries and did eat about half of the burger, but it just wasn’t what I wanted. I plan to go back eventually, which I am hoping my next visit is better. I got an email asking for a review. I explained my problem with burgers and fries prepared wrong. The manager Cameron and the franchise owner reached out within hours. They promised that if I came back in they would remake my families order and it would be on them. I returned the next day and as promised they comped our order. The manager on duty seemed to be supervising the prep. I was very pleased and took my order home. I got home and to my disbelief it was wrong again !!! I sent photos to Cameron who was not on duty this evening but who I had been communicating with. He said sorry but we won’t remake the order. I informed him that I had given up on eating at Freddy’s but this situation could be much more serious if an order had gone to someone with a good allergy and not just picky children today.
